7 of 9 ( played by Jerri Ryan) was anything but a minor character on Star Trek Voyager. She was brought into the series during season 3 and became a main character / sex symbol for the remaining 4 seasons that Voyager aired. Any Star Trek / Voyager fan would know this without the use of Google. Don't trivialize that characters importance in the Star Trek series because your angry at TinyCo. From reading your posts you've been playing this game from the beginning. Anotherwords TinyCo's practices shouldn't come as a big surprise to you any longer. Just leave Star Trek and its characters out of it. Reading my posts you'll also see I'm fair in my judgement of TinyCo and have actually offered them constructive criticism. As for 7 of 9, I'm not going to get into a Star Trek debate with anyone since I don't really care about the show. I've probably seen all the episodes once, but that's about it. With that said, my opinion is Voyager was one of the lesser franchises just above Deep Space 9. If this group is any indication, your average Family Guy Quest for Stuff player isn't a Trekkie. To be honest, I for some reason thought she had married the fat kid from Stand by Me. I looked that up too today and apparently he's only been married to Rebecca Romijn which is an actual Family Guy reference. I didn't make my post to ensue a debate either. Merely pointing out the fact that 7 of 9 / Jerri Ryan was a very significant female character, probably the most significant female character in any of the Star Trek series. Even Captin Janeway's character on Voyager didn't have the impact that 7 of 9 did, and she had a much larger role to play. Deep Space 9 is in the Star Trek universe but all the episodes were based solely on a space station. It wasn't a crew exploring the galaxy in a starship like the others. Many consider it the least of all the shows for that very reason. It's dry plots and dull characters didn't help either. Many didn't like Voyager simply because it had a female Captin. Voyager was my favorite, but I like them all. This was a good event that I definately enjoyed. TinyCo needs to have a Star Wars event next. Plenty of characters they could shove into gamble boxes, and charge clams for and people would still buy them, myself included.

Please me mindful, that as a new member, to be respectful of other regular poster to this board. The poster you replied to has offered many good insights and helpful hints for quite a while. It does not help to be condescending. This may not have been your intent, but as an unbiased reader seeing your response, it certainly did seem that way. We're all here to enjoy and comment on a game, warts and all. Mutual respect is the key phrase to remember when posting. As for a Star Wars event, I highly doubt it as SW is now a Disney property. Fox previously released the movies, but now it belongs to Disney. I thought this was fairly common knowledge.
Anyway, welcome to the forum!

i hated the new mystery box i got all the items one after the another except the warp core level 6 i kept getting the tribbles until like my 100th box when i finally got the last item. while i'm not sure if they will be releasing anymore characters if they do add anymore some last Minute characters could be Pavel Chekov Leonard "Bones" McCoy Hikaru Sulu And, btw, why didn't George takei get a sulu skin? probably same reason patrick stewart didn't get the Picard and Locutus as a skin he would be a seperate character.

Just defeated Cannon Borg Bertram-- again-- and just unlocked Uhura. Glad she has two visual tasks at least (that I know of since her higher level tasks are still locked; gotta level her up). Also got enough dark matter to replicate the Bronze Borg Bertram statue. I need another 150 dark matter to get both the silver and gold statues-- which I doubt I will make the effort as they all look alike. Would have wanted the different Borg Bertram NPCs instead.

I know I'm really late to the party but I need someone to explain the Bertram thing to me. I have Stewie, Picard, Chris and Geordi shooting at him. I'm up to the last round. Refresh my memory after the 4 hours do I have to let them rest or can I just send them back again for another 4 hours every time? I swear I remember something with the Yeti that said you have to let them rest for better results. I never did get Jesus is it impossible to beat him on his last level with only 4 guys? I have 7,043 crystals and 57 dark matter I really want Kirk but if I can't pull that off maybe I can get Joe. Be honest do you think it's possible to get Kirk? I have Peter Lois and Quagmire going to the Borg planet every hour in the hopes of hitting the 500 crystals. thanks

The rest period is for Borg Bertram--after you defeat him, he rests for 4 hours before you can attack him again. The easiest workaround is when Bertram is low on health, clear only one attacker at a time, and immediately send the attacker to attack again before clearing the next one. Once you deal the fatal blow and Bertram goes to rest for 4 hours, do not tap any of the other attackers' completed checks until after the 4-hour cooldown period is over. Then, you'll get to do the damage on the new Bertram.

Oh so what you are saying is once I defeat him only tape one of the guys. Let the other 3 sit with the check above their head. when his 4 hour rest is up click the other 3 because it will be a boom boom boom right off the bat. thanks Mopurglar!

So doing the math on the Dark Matter, it seems like I'll only can get Kirk or the new chick. Is one character better than the other? I'm currently fighting a level 4 Bertrum, and figure that I will only have 2 days to fight level 5 (twice), so seeing that only 125 Dark Matter is possible, plus the 50 I have now does not equal the 225 that I need for both. I guess I should have let the pointless quests sit and cranked out the Dark Matter over the weekend. But probably wouldn't have worked, I was pretty busy yesterday so I wouldn't have been able to defeat him I imagine.

Carter it's really a matter of preference I guess. Kirk is Kirk, the captain, the big cheese, the Priceline guy and proud wearer of the Shatner turbo 2000. Uhura was a ground breaking character when the show first came out, sang with Duke Ellington and worked with NASA to recruit astronauts. I don't have Uhura yet, I need the dark green cubes. I'm hoping to hear back from TinyCo about the lack of drops from beating the Borg cube. It finally dropped one after 16 kills. I've had Kirk on task since I got him and I can't even remember what they are right now let alone if there are any good ones. I guess if I were in your position, I'd probably go for Kirk since you at least know who he is and won't be thinking "who's that" as you see him walking around your Quahog.

He has better visual tasks like fighting the Gorn and sound bites. Uhura's visual tasks are meaningless to anyone who doesn't remember the episodes they came from. Without the context her fan dance and communication boogie tasks are just meh. Plus her voice work is severely lacking. She sounds every bit of her 82 years of age, saying such wonderful lines like "would you look at that" and "are you gentlemen all right". I imagine her convo with TinyCo consisted of them giving her lines to record and her refusing most of them either because she found the humor distasteful or objected to it because she felt it would tarnish Uhura's image.

I don't have Spock, not a Trekkie so have 0 of the premium characters. It stinks that I can't even get both. I would think with an extension of the event that I'd have hit everything, but will miss out on a character let alone a number of the decorations that were added to the replicator. The Dark matter is way too high for some of these things. Why couldn't she just need item drops or something simple? Oh well, as I said this event has been entirely lackluster and a grind for me so a missing character won't be the end of the world.

For real. I can't believe how bad Uhura sounds. The voice really ruins it.

Wasn't George Takei and other "free" characters cost clams? Aren't you premium? I know others aren't or weren't when they did that rerun 2014 thing earlier this year.
