Still working for Kirk. I even bought the huge crystal mine. <blush>.

New Rupert box spent 14,000 D and still couldn't get flaming crew member, but I got me a tribble infestation. Oh look more crap that's bigger than the Vasquez Rocks (the size of a people in my opinion), oh a warp core (x 5) I can put that next to my colored temples from GB event (inventory) looks good you don't even notice their there.

Well I lucked out with sending Peter, Lois and Quagmire on the Borg Cube away mission... Lots of clams and kept hitting 500 dilithium. So I got Kirk yesterday. In another 5 hours I should have enough for Captain Pike Joe (lame) outfit which I'll probably never use. I'm back up to 175 free accumulated Clams, so if this keeps up I may snag Q as well. Or just keep saving for the next event I'd save them . Unless you love Star Trek then get him, else he will be just another worthless character after next week. I spent 150 on that third mystery box and I already have all those clams back. When it was released, I bought just one. Got the borg skin for the school. When Consuela's skin was added, I was like eh, why not one more time. Boom Consuela! Joe is unlocked for me, now the the journey to Kirk. I don't see it being a major problem. I'm letting Bertrum reset to let Chris do some tasks. Then I will be all up on going for Kirk.

And I'm only a casual fan of TNG although am now planning on binge watching all 7 seasons on Netflix soon after enjoying this event in the game. Got out everything from the Human Starfleet Mystery Box with another 10K crystals to spare. Hope we get the different Borg Bertrams as NPCs as well. Saving the crystals for them, just in case. Still getting clams from Borg Cube missions which is a plus!

If I keep plugging away at Borg Bertram I should be able to get them back before the end of the event, but it's still annoying. I'm not going to bother with 7 of 9, she's such was such a minor character that I had to Google it just to see which series she was on (Voyager if anyone was curious). They're out of their minds if they think I'm spending 265 clams on her. I'm still ticked that I can't get the Borg Counsuela costume and I am not spending any more clams on that mystery box. I've already spent at least 300 clams net because I got caught up in it. I have everything, but Borg Consuela so I should reasonably expect to get her. Nope, I keep getting 4 dark matter. Seriously? 4? Yeah that's worth 75 clams. Edited to add: Oh and the bit about the Borg cube dropping dark green cubes is garbage. I just destroyed the thing 12 times in a row (36 crystals) and not a single cube dropped. So the drop rate is less than 8%. I got a pittance of dilithium out of it too. I don't mean to bitch, but now they're on my last nerve.

I guess TinyCo, extending the game another week, wanted players who are finished unlocking the others something else to do. Lucky for me I have more than enough of the other crystals and just working on beating Borg Bertram again to have enough dark matter for Uhura. Message TinyCo about the green cubes not dropping when hitting the Borg Cube-- there are 5 days left in the event and they can patch a fix for it if they're not aware of the problem.

She was brought into the series during season 3 and became a main character / sex symbol for the remaining 4 seasons that Voyager aired. Any Star Trek / Voyager fan would know this without the use of Google. Don't trivialize that characters importance in the Star Trek series because your angry at TinyCo. From reading your posts you've been playing this game from the beginning. Anotherwords TinyCo's practices shouldn't come as a big surprise to you any longer. Just leave Star Trek and its characters out of it.

As for 7 of 9, I'm not going to get into a Star Trek debate with anyone since I don't really care about the show. I've probably seen all the episodes once, but that's about it. With that said, my opinion is Voyager was one of the lesser franchises just above Deep Space 9. If this group is any indication, your average Family Guy Quest for Stuff player isn't a Trekkie. To be honest, I for some reason thought she had married the fat kid from Stand by Me. I looked that up too today and apparently he's only been married to Rebecca Romijn which is an actual Family Guy reference.

I swear, these guys are master con artists. It's amazing how much psychology they put into trying to swindle players.
Since the very first event, their general MO has been to make the odds of winning something look bleak--e.g., through low drop rates, hard-to-win event currency, and lately, useless quests--in an attempt to pressure people into spending clams. Then, they turn around and make things easier.
When I saw the extension, I figured it had to have been planned all along. But for TinyCo to now reveal that they've had another week of event content planned is so damn cheeky. And FYI, they still have Wesley Crusher up their sleeves.
And make no mistake about it--they meant to release Seven of Nine at the end. They like to get you to bite for less desirable premium purchases first (e.g., a skin for Consuela--thankfully I passed on it), then kick it up a notch with actual characters (Scotty and Khan). Then they hit you with Jeri Ryan; most guys who are premium players are going to buy her. I'd be super annoyed right now if I hadn't stocked up on clams at New Years.

You know it, it takes the weeks to Months to get one character ready and voiced. Now wether or not they planned to release before the original end date or pushed it back to the planed extension (was the planned extension planed from the beginning of the event or after all the bugs and complaints?). At least in TSTO when you 100-200 donuts for a character you get a building to go with it, not just dump 265 clams and only have a couple of visual tasks. I'm not helping because I bought her, nothing like saying hey tinyco charge me $100 every event.
