Anyone able to get crystals easily? I've sent my team of all 3 members (Peter, Lois, Quagmire) to that new planet at least 6 times today, but only hit the 500 crystals once and 5 clams once. Is there a better planet to go to? As it's looking now, I probably won't get Picard or Joe if it's going to take forever to get crystals.

The plan: -Data (need 700 crystals) -Picard (need 8000 crystals, 12 dark matter) -Joe (need 18 catheter [likely done today], 65 dark matter, 4000 crystals) Time permitting, will shoot for Guardian of Forever, Picard's Fencing Arena, Data's Chip Factory, Herbert's skin and any other missing free content. Likely not going to hit Kirk - need way too much dark matter, with only 3 current fighters, likely can't beat stage 5 without one. Probably can't beat stage 4 either later today/tomorrow. (12 HP left on stage 3 with <14 hours to go with 3 fighters - will make it, but obviously will have to reset tomorrow possibly) That's awesome. I've given up on getting Borg Consuela. I got the cat, the 2 Peter ships (because I need those like I need a hole in the head), the skin for the high school (see previous comment about a hole in the head), clams and then 4 dark matter 3 times in a row. I am so not happy with this mystery box crap. Oh and when exactly are we going to see Scotty & Khan? They're still in the character list. Advance the quest line to get Scotty/ Khan available? Not sure. I've got about 8 more hours and Cannon Bertram is going down. Curious to see if that has an effect on anything. Cannon isn't easy to take down - 40 health bars. Pretty sure you need all 5 characters on him to take him down in 24 hours, and setting an alarm during your sleep cycle for the day. |

265 for Kann +Spock & Locutus = Scotty free Since I bought Spock already, it was an easy choice to spend the 265 clams for Kahn and Scotty. I'm not a Star Trek fan, but I've seen the shows and movies and I really wanted Scotty. I should have Capt. Pike Joe later today or tomorrow at the latest and then it's on to get Kirk. It looks like the only thing I wanted from this event that I won't get is Borg Consuela (damn you TinyCo) unless I get drunk or have a small stroke between now and the end of the event and open more mystery boxes. For those who have had trouble I hope they extend the event, but I'm ready to be done with it. Between this, the TSTO event and an event in another game I'm really over the grind. |

It worked with the Klingon Meg skin deal for me as well.  I'm going to miss out on Borg Consuela as well since I stopped gambling on premium mystery boxes. Learned my lesson during Comic Con event.  Already got Captain Pike Joe and working on Kirk-- I just defeated Cannon Borg Bertram (50 dark matter) and have to defeat him one more time and I'll have enough dark matter to unlock him. |

Well when you put it like that, it really is clear that TinyCo and crack dealers have something in common. It looks like I'm going to have to use clams to defeat the current incarnation of Borg Bertram (the 4th one can't remember which one it is). He's only got 2 bars of life left, but he's set to expire about 10 seconds before any of my characters will be finished with their current attack. I've been pulling characters from the attack to do other things for the quest line, but it looks like all 5 will be needed full time to knock him out for the last time. Edit: Just went back in and it looks like I was working with the last incarnation of Borg Bertram. Looks like it won't be as difficult as I thought. I just got everything for Capt Pike Joe, now all that's left is Kirk. |

Well I finally got Kirk and all I kneed is the last prize, now if there was something to use all those extra crystals on.

Only skin I'll be missing this event is Borg Consuela. Overall, a fun, if sometimes frustrating, yet exhausting but rewarding event! Never a dull moment, that's for sure. |

Well I got Kirk. Yay. I wouldn't call this event fun. Buying every character, an event currency generator, and premium buildings guaranteeing material drops didn't seem to matter. I still had to grind, be on every 1-2 hours just to come close to finishing. If you spend 2500+ clams on an event it should buy you some comfort room, the ability to to skip a day even and still finish with time to spare. I should be on every 1-2 hours because I'm enjoying it not because I'm forced to be to finish.
Oh well. It's done. I'm going to ignore the rest of the quantity>quality quests since they'll disappear when the event ends no matter where I'm at in them. I'll just put Peter, Lois and quagmire to visit the Borg cube to hopefully gain a few more clams.
Things I liked:
The Enterprise (separate area to play in)
Worf (by far my favorite character in this event; his visual tasks are awesome!)
Riker (his sound bites are hilarious!)
Q (because, well he's Q)
Captain Picard/Locutus (although it would've made more sense to unlock Picard first, then have the Borg assimilate him; plus the character/skin collection screen wouldn't be messed up)
Geordi
Beverly Crusher (visual tasks are ok, sound bites are awesome!)
Khaaannnnn!!!!!!
Things I disliked:
THE GRIND
Changing things constantly at the last minute
Too many quests (mostly unfunny and time consuming)
Too many materials to acquire
Deanna Troi (the best you could do for her was a visual task of picking an outfit? Really?)
Guinan (don't know what else could be done with her, she just left me feeling meh)
Putting Borg Consuela in a mystery box (I just know that characters will be next)
And last but not least a lack of respect for their customers (you don't need to squeeze me at every turn to keep me spending money; it'll do just the opposite)

I had 20+ orange crystals and only got 2 dilithium crystals, so not exactly a great return. I'll have to go back to really pushing the away missions and hopefully I'll have enough before the event ends. |

After I see where I'm at on crystals come Wednesday, may just buy the final 2 buildings intead of Joe.
