Looks like we have a Star Trek Event beaming in this month. Apparently some players got an update on iOS that gave them a Peter in TNG red outfit icon. In true TinyCo fashion it got screwed up somehow, released early and now the game has been taken off the App Store temporarily.
Who'd like to guess as to how the event will play out? I'm guessing we'll have the comic con nerds as squatters (because why not just reuse the same old crap; it saves precious manpower that can be better used to not add land), Borg will be the big bad that will take Jelly-yo, excuse me I mean snowballs, no I mean phasers set to stun to temporarily stop them. With premium content including but not limited to Geordi LaForge, Worf, W(h)il W(h)eaton, TNG outfits for Peter and the guys, and 25 premium buildings half of which will have nothing to do with either Family Guy or Star Trek. Oh and some random celebrity (let's say Renee Zellweger) and mystery boxes with maybe one cool item if they're feeling generous.

I really wish they would give us breaks with this game, I need to finish off the brewery prizes and district 11 (and the blimp prizes). It seems they want us to try and do that and complete events and weekend updates, it is just non stop work with this game

You're right they pummel us with so much constantly its ridiculous. And most of it is premium content that isn't worth it.

So this game is non-stop now. Districts in between events. Make everything last a month and easy as pie. Events are better spaced with weekly goals, while the districts they look at how to make it last forever (10 with many decorations with high amounts of items with minimal characters giving those items, 11 with a super long quest line as it takes forever to generate plutonium). I've been debating when I should log in next. Went yesterday without logging into the game so far (and up to this point today). So sick of the 4 hour requirements and constant need to level characters.

A premium skin for Patrick Stewart and a premium RIP Spock, I'm spent and not going to spend more. TSTO is the way to go.

I take days off here and there including the last couple days of events. When events aren't going on I set my characters on 12 hour tasks in the morning and 8 hours at night. Checking it twice a day ensures that I don't get burnt out. Plus I don't care anymore if I start an event or district a little late. I'm not too fussed with completing districts as the districts are mostly uninteresting anymore and have no time limit. 95% of the Pawtucket Brewery decos I created are in storage and Olivia probably won't help with anything in the near future. I figure I'll get her by the end of April.

There was a lapse after that event as well until Comic Con started end of June. I think there was a period after Comic Con ended until District 8 launched. Then I think there was a small lapse after until Halloween, then we've been flooded with content since. Halloween ended and District 9 launched. Throw in Thanksgiving followed by Christmas followed by District 10 followed by Valentine's Day followed by District 11.

Now that you mention some of those earlier dates I do vaguely remember them. I think I was so busy playing hourly at that point, trying to unlock everything including Peter's costumes that it felt like constant content. And I do check in sometimes more than twice a day to get the plutonium but it's just for those 3 characters and I'm not as punctual about it as I used to be.

Just got a pop up in game about the event. When you click engage, it takes you to a post on Facebook by FGTQFS, which says it is coming March 19th

I'd care, but it really don't. This game makes me want to go to the restroom on a fire hydrant. Number two...

Well seeing that they've made a television commercial for this event I think it's safe to assume that they are going to make this the priciest event yet, chock full of clam grabbing techniques to help recoup the costs of the commercial plus introduce the game to plenty of unsuspecting people new to the ways of the "TinyCo Fleece".

Just happened right now. Seems it might be a PITA if already there has to be tons of tapping small things on the roadways.

It's going to be interesting to see how this event plays out. I like the idea of having the enterprise being a completely separate area. That is absolutely an improvement over previous events but it remains to be seen whether the rest of the event will play out as usual. I hope I was being too pessimistic going into this event.
Also in the faq's they mention that we'll get to keep the rooms of the Enterprise once the event is over but I wonder if it'll look like the whole ship or will it just look like a bunch of separate random rooms. And will it be kept in its own separate area or will we be forced to fit it in our tiny little towns?
