I'm at level 6 now 0002 or 12:02am, I have no life. |

Well I finally got Troi yesterday, so been bogged down with quest lines now after like 5 days of pure stoppage. Not sure why I needed Troi to trigger another Riker quest line, but hey that makes sense.
So I have already crafted one of everything. I had to do the ejector last night when I finally hit 2k in currency again. That thing gives you a full level. Was almost level 5, and now I'm almost level 6. I have more than enough light green cubes to open up Quagmire and the other chick when the update launches providing I hit level 6 soon.
34/40 batteries (had all day planning sessions at work - can't play at all during the day both yesterday and today)
16/35 laser pointers - so maybe after the last area unlocks I'll have this.
8/25 Felicuim - maybe after the event is over I'll have enough.
Other than that 100% on all other items needed for the dude and Lois skin.

Well I'm short on currency since I was blocked out out of the enterprise for half of the available time when the event started. So I've had to play catch up. Took forever to make it to level 2, so I was delayed starting there. But I was mostly caught up for the level and required materials to start phase 3, but since Chris' costume came the last day of phase 2, and Troi taking until the final few days of phase 3, I'm now ultra delayed on the current part. I'm just now getting going through the quest lines. The Patrick clone is just missing a few batteries and the laser pointers - and I had a jump start on item gathering when the phase started. Just taking forever getting the laser pointers and felicuim. So it seems I'll have a late start for phase 4 now as I'm missing the critical character. |

Carter, you and I are in pretty much the same shape. I hit level 6 once I crafted the ejector, but I need 9 felicium for Lois and 18 or 19 pointers for Locutus. I wrote TinyCo last night, but I haven't heard back yet. I'm hoping enough people voice their displeasure to get them to make this a little more do-able. Shooting that Peter ship and ending up with nothing good to show for it is really discouraging. I'm almost as discouraged as TinyCo will be if they continue to annoy customers.

Btw the dish is huge and V. Rocks is tiny, both useless. I've been to V. Rocks and it huge i mean they filmed the town of bedrock in it for cryin out loud and its smaller than Geordi's stand. Ridiculous.

Well on the plus side, I made enough XP to level up to 6, and surprisingly let me unlock the new district. I read the requirements to be at part 9 of that Picard quest line and I was just starting part 5 or 6 (didn't have Troi for part one, so didn't start until like Tuesday). So now I see even more fun items to collect, including shooting down more Peterprises. Oh boy, now 3 items that MIGHT drop once a day. It'll be a matter of time until the quest line halts requiring the new characters/skins.
Pretty sure I hit both ships this morning, but only one managed to be shot actually.

As hard as it is to PE now you need a minimum of 84, they really need to drop more often. Make sure you hit the same one 2 times if it goes off the screen you'll have to start over (unless it will cycle through and come back I didn't wait to see). Just got Locutus, he's a separate character not a skin. Sent all 4 for an away mission and got the K. BOP. The first time, but it seems like it will be near impossible to get Herbert's skin as he's only got 1/2 of a bar- unlikely = extremely rare. I'm keeping track for how many tries it takes me. |

I read in the FAQ that some ships are armored and that's why they need to be hit twice. That's information that would have been helpful before I tried shooting one with only 1 gem available. I've never had to run to the FAQ repeatedly during an event to know what's going on before and really don't like that idea now. I also noticed that one of the items for Crusher needs an item that can only be obtained by killing Borg or an away mission. Yet, the only thing I can get from my Borg are dark green cubes. Oh and then there's the need to use orange crystals in the replicator. That wouldn't be so bad if I didn't need them to hit Peter's ship, but since I do it's a pretty d*** move on their part. I've been a premium player, but this event is going to cost more to complete than I'm willing to spend.
They made the mistake yesterday of opening the door for commentary by asking how many Peter ships people have shot. It's not going well over there for old TinyCo.
Edited to add: I just went into my game and had a message from support. It said it was a bulk message that I was receiving because I'd written in about the event. Well, I've written in 3 times on 3 different issues without a response yet. Anyway, they said they fixed the drop rates for week 2 items and wanted to know my thoughts on what I've seen of week 3. As my mother always says, be careful what you ask for. I was honest and told them they need to fix ALL the drop rates. I'm not expecting much, since I really don't understand why they wouldn't tweak all the drop rates. It's kind of funny that this last core upgrade was the first one to come out on time when I think people would have been happy to wait a little longer for it if it meant they were fixing things.

I agree with you about the FAQ. I didn't know it had to be shoot twice. Would have been nice to know... also if you don't hit it twice, it appears "healed" when it reappears on the screen, so we have that going for us too. I also got a "bulk message" thing. THey finally took the time to answer my 3 messages. When they asked for feedback, I was flat out honest saying how I'm playing the game as often as humanly possible (hourly in some cases!) but not hitting the drops for the felicium or the laser pointers (chris/quagmire) and also said how the peterprise should drop more. I stated I was halfway (just checked I still am 13/25 F and a little more than half on the pointers 20/35) and how it will take a long time to get it. I also said the phase 4 items are going down the same route as the ship will require 2 shots and more of the item to finish it. So I basically said it seemed unattainable and that I'll be forever behind. Edit: that's why I really hit this "phase" thing for both FG and Tapped Out. Miss a day (due to a glitch/issue or even real life) and fall behind and unable to catch up. This case I was locked out of the enterprise for the majoity of phase 1 since the cat thingies stopped appearing in quahog and couldn't complete Riker. So then phase 2 launched and I was unprepared. I managed to start phase 3 a day late, and seemed caught up, but phase 2 took forever on the chocolate/blue cubes so I didn't get Troi until phase 3 was nearly over. I could have completed phase 3 on time, but the drops on the felicium and laser pointers are whacked and will take most of phase 4 to get the rest of those. I am started on phase 4, but won't be able to get the condoms since I will need my shots for the other 2 items from phase 3. |

That's the whole problem with the design of this event. Since each phase builds on the phase before, you can't ever really catch up. The way things are going, I'm not even going to bother trying for Data and whatever else phase 5 brings. Things really need to change and change quickly.
