Don't give up guys. Just got Vulcan Quagmire skin this morning. Really glad destroying the shielded Petercraft ALWAYS drops the space condoms now or it would have taken much longer. (Also have all 3 premium characters this event which helped). Just 3 hypospray away from unlocking Beverly Crusher.

The drop rates are better than they were. That's not saying a lot, but they are better. The flaw with the logic in this event is that they set high quantities for needed items with very limited ways to get them. I'm up to 13 condoms because I bought Q and have had him on his 8 hour task almost non-stop. I've also gotten better at shooting the Peter ship. This morning I was 5 hits for 5 shots, but missed on my 6th 7th ending up with 2 condoms. It's not great, but it may be do-able if I keep plugging away and keep Q on task. However, there's a problem with that plan. Q and Crusher are the only 2 characters that can clear red shirts and Crusher is still locked. Of course we need to clear red shirts to get something for Vulcan Quagmire (I think it's magazines). This means the only way to get magazines is from the room and even with 2 rooms getting them isn't guaranteed. Meanwhile back in sick bay, Crusher is still locked because we need 55 thing-a-ma-jigs which we can get from clearing Borg which isn't guaranteed or from one of the rooms which also isn't guaranteed. I was able to unlock sick bay right away, so I've been working on them since the start of this phase and still only have 23. Even using Carter's trick, it'll take me another 8 days to get them all from the rooms. Now here's where the biggest flaw in the event design becomes evident. I've reached the point in the main quest line that requires Crusher to do things. Since it's going to take more than 2 days to unlock her, I'm once again going to be behind starting the next phase. Even grinding all day isn't going to get us some of these items. Whoever designed this event either didn't think it out all the way or they decided not to try to hide a clam grab. I'm not defending TinyCo, but I think it's more that they didn't think it through. I say this because they are somewhat responsive to complaints. I have another game I play that is structuring events like TSTO where you have to collect X number of something to get prizes. The problem is that unlike TSTO this game has daily limits on how many items you can get in a day from a given activity. They design the event so that you need to get the maximum allowed items nearly every day, but as a long time player I can't do that because some of the activities aren't available or because of game glitches. The company's response to questions/complaints is and this is a direct quote "The event is optional. You don't have to participate to enjoy the game." I wrote them back and said asked if they knew what else was optional. They won't be getting another penny from me. So while TinyCo is far from perfect, they're also far from the worst gaming company. Yeah these item limits are certainly not attainable. It's really wearing me out, and certainly disheartening that the events are becoming harder and harder. 55 of an item that has a max of 3 potential ways and all 3 are not 100%? Do they assume people are getting 8-10 a day? I'm certainly not, closer to like 2-3 a day. |

What the Hell is wrong with the Petership in game phaser? The damn thing hasn't worked right since the last update for the bridge, the reticle sticks, the game skips, and worst of all is that the fire button doesn't work half of the time and it is pissing me off to no ends.
I have sent tiny schmucks 4 emails asking them to fix the cash cow but they, as always, have done nothing.
Very fucking frustrating.

Unlocked both Vulcan Quagmire and Beverly Crusher with less than 2 days left before the next (hopefully last) warp core upgrade. Looking forward to Kirk, Data and Talosian Stewie skin. it is thats the last one alls the left is the holodeck Kirk Data Talosian Stewie and Picard although as of tomorrow there's 15D 07H and 27m(at the time of this post) so there could also be something else but i can't say what oh and also the what i'm assuming is going to be the Heranus Mystery box |

Seeing that there is 15 days left in the event I cross my fingers that I will be able to get everything. I know it's not fair to the clam paying members but I wish they would extend the event just so we can have a chance to get everything. I mean 40 condoms is rough!

All things considered, and as someone who has spent clams on premium characters for this event, I'd be ok with them extending the event a few days. It's hard enough getting the things for Crusher and Vulcan Quagmire with the premium characters to help. On a positive note, they just replied again that they've improved drop rates. On a negative note, I don't think it's only for crystals and items from previous weeks. I need 8 more of whatever it is that we need 55 of for Crusher. I'm hoping they drop early enough today that I can at least get her started on her tasks so that I don't have too much of a delay starting the final phase. I need 6 magazines and I think it was 8 condoms for Vulcan Quagmire, so he should be unlocked tomorrow at the latest. |

Need 25 of those hypospray things for crusher (everything else is complete), and need like 28 some space condoms for Quagmire. Clearing Borgs doesn't drop like any Hypospray things, the rooms have been dropping the majority of them. I wasn't using my trick since it's a 10 hour build and would only get 4 a day, but I seem to be hitting better by leaving them. |

Just noticed that we're going to need 80 light green cubes to unlock the holodeck. I switched out my crew quarters for other rooms trying to maximize the other drops I needed. So with only 29 at this moment, looks like I'll have plenty of time to let Crusher do her thing before I can even start the last phase. It would be nice if they change that before the next core upgrade, but I'm not holding my breath.

It would be nice if they change that before the next core upgrade, but I'm not holding my breath. It looks like 80 yellow cubes to me-- not light green-- unless I've become color blind.  |

Went and got pizza and watched GOTG, and as usual tinyco dropped the ball again. So I'm still early but I only have 9,500D this time, hopefully Kirk is available this week so I can try to get him first. |
