Using the Pawtucket Brewery to craft different things could be fun. And we have district 10, Valentine's Day event, and maybe Star Wars event after that to look forward to in the next couple of months. Sounds fun, just hope they add land to be able to enjoy it fully. |

Last bracelet dropped when I woke up and the collar thing (Peter/Chris) dropped about 9 hours later (only set them about 3 times each-had a busy day). I'd love it if they would discount stuff upon unlocking it's primary use. I've made that suggestion in the AD event, so I guess they are figuring out the kinks. I'd get the skin for less than 30 clams. 50 is still kinda high in my opinion. I'm also not enjoying them reskinning buildings/decorations and selling them as new. They started with Halloween with the Spooky Lighthouse - these should just be skins. The only thing I go 100% for is characters. This premium character skin broke my skin collection, but not paying more than a character (Paul Stanley, Jake, etc) worth for a 1 time use skin. Sure it will get a task in the future, but typically it doesn't help that much. |

Well, this NYE mini event ended quickly for me... 1 - create Jillian's NYE outfit - i can't, just three days left and still need three necklaces that won't drop (it's been 24hrs since my last necklace drop) 2 - create Brian's NYE costume - I can't, i'm not paying 150 clams for a skin! This mini event has been a let down. Many players saying that skins should be free, with us working hard to earn them. Paying for skins (including building skins) just isn't right, and certainly NOT at the premium prices TinyCo are asking for them I'm happy to buy loads of premium content form events, i like characters and nice buildings and i always buy them, but skins - absolutely not, not at those prices. Maybe 30 clams yes, but 150, absolutely no! |

I got slated by loads of people on Facebook for saying it was a rip off and that skins for buildings and characters should be part of quests and earned, not bought unless someone wants to pay a ridiculous amount of clams to unlock it quickly. I don't care what names i was called, i'm right. I made a point that i'm a premium player and do spend a lot of money on their events, but 150 clams for a skin (or worse in the case of Pee Pants Peter - WHAT A RIP OFF THAT ONE WAS!). I know i was p[robably silly slating the cost of the skin, but it just annoys me that i can't enjoy the rest of the mini NYE event without it. I think it's BS. I would probably have bought it if it had been between 20-40 clams, but not 150. I must admit, the cash grabbing ideas they are having for silly stuff like skins is getting really annoying. Don't mean this post to sound like a rant, but i stand by my words about TinyCo's FGQFS pricing on skins. It sucks, and they need to learn it's the kind of thing that puts players off (that's why TSTO lost me as a player - it got boring, stale and well, crap) |

There's people happy to defend TinyCo (don't buy it then, no one is forcing you) and bull reasons. But in reality 150 clams for a character skin is really overpriced. In donuts, that's 75, and I can't recall a standalone skin (no building/deco) being at 75 donuts. I know there's the small pot thing with Witch Marge for 90, but that gives a premium bonus % in addition to the skin. The skin also collects additional cash/xp. With TinyCo, there are no bonus %s, and there are no premium tasks or jobs valued higher for the skin. So in all the skin is severely overpriced as it only uses a limited time item drop. The jobs don't pay more or anything of value really added to long time play. I've been disappointed with the premium content not offering anything of value. Just encouraged to purchase with no benefits - which is a real rip off. |

I've only had Jesus pay out 2 clams once, on the first time i set him on that task. Since then ,it's been three other attempts and no further clam drops. Being as he's not being used at the moment for anything, i don't mind having him held up every 24hrs trying to get clams He's dropped about 6 clams for me so far. I'm trying to debate if the 24 hour for clam is worth it, or if I should level him. Cleveland mentioned he unlocks an 8 hour task for clams - so I was thinking that'd be a better deal. Might only be 1 clam, but then he would fit into my schedule better. Not sure if this task still exists though... Man.. I have no luck... Jesus hasn't dropped a SINGLE Clam for me yet! |
