Jesus clam update: 3/6 attampts =6 clams. Not bad at all  I went into my game this morning to clear all the charcters that were on overnight tasks and buildings that needed to be collected, only to find that Lois and Peter have had their two hour tasks to earn extra rare items removed. Bad form TinyCo, bad form. I'm guessing they are not getting sales from the Brian costume and the NYE Bar so take those two extra rare item drops from Peter and Lois away so players feel the need to buy the premium skin and bar... Ummmm, guess what TinyCo, in a few points, here's why i won't be parting with any of my 616 clams ** Not paying 150 clams for a skin - may have done if the bar and Brian's costume came together for 150 clams ** I prefer buildings and characters as premium purchases ** I'm not interested in Jillian's NYE skin so i have no need for Brian's skin or the bar to help unlock it Sounds daft right? Well, the truth is, i've sang TinyCo's praises since ComicCon, their events have been amazing with loads of cool premium stuff to buy, but this mini event, it's quite simply, 'meh!' - It has no appeal to me, it doesn't add any enjoyment to the game. As i said above, that skin for Brian and the bar should have been one premium purchase for 170 clams maximum. It's just soured the game for a lot of people. Lets not forget adding FIVE (5) new buildings when i have NO LAND available. I am very disappointed with this one, it's a real deflater of a mini event. |

Looks like they've taken away Lois' bracelet-dropping task and Peter's necklace-dropping task. I haven't gotten to the part in the questline where I'll need those tasks, so I'll see what happens when I get there. TinyCo has a habit of analyzing metrics as they go along and changing the rules mid-stream. Usually, they wait for people to buy premium stuff, then change the rules to make things easier. This is the first time I can remember that they've actually tweaked the rules to make things harder. IMO, probably b/c they weren't selling many cocktail bars / Tuxedo Brian's, and the extra rare items seem to be dropping pretty quickly. FG addicts just sent them an inquiry, so I guess we can look forward to the usual about-face for publicity's sake. I sent them an in-game note as well. Haven't heard back yet. On a side note, your avatar cracks me up. That would have been a hilarious joint task with Kool-Aid Man and Stewie in the game.  |

i bought tuxedo brian. Way too expensive though quest line is funny so far. Really wish i did not ocd when it come to characters/skins. Have all characters and skins released so far. Sad, i know. i'm the same way for tsto. I really hope this new price point scheme for skins is a one time thing.

When I went into the game this morning, I got a message about a special event and needing the right clothes for Brian and Jillian. It was something about the restaurant having a dress code. Anyone know if we'll get a freebie if we have both skins? Of course by freebie I mean included in the price of Brian's outfit. If that's the case it might take some of the sting out of spending the clams on it. (Not that I have any room for anything.)

I'm not bothering, as with building skins, character skins are not worth it. If it was something else with it (don't like the reskinned sommelier bar), I may have considered it. |

February: Valentine’s Day
The best part about making games is that we get to explore strange new worlds. Family Guy is no exception, thanks to the Multiverse, Stewie’s time travel (don’t worry, we’ll learn what happened to that plutonium soon), and Quahog itself. For Valentine’s Day, we’re wondering:what would happen if a bunch of these characters went on dates?
Apparently we're not getting to the end of the plutonium till February.

They really needed to give something good with it to make it worth the money. I'm still trying to get the last couple necklaces for Jillian's outfit.
