Hey, it was just a suggestion. I'm with you guys on the (lack of) busy in this forum. Nothing like the TSTO forums.
I just find it difficult to follow one thread with multiple events in it. Might even be nice to split multiple weeks into individual threads?
Tho there's little info posted here lately other than by Cleveland. I head over to Family Guy Game on Twitter, with links to their WP pages most of the time.

Went ahead and moved the New Years posts to a new thread per member feedback. I unstickied the Christmas thread and left it open for now in case there are any additional thoughts on it. I copied the info from the first post in the Christmas thread to the new first post in the New Years Thread.
New edit: I also unstickied the Thanksgiving event part and locked it. Since District 10 is not officially launched, I went ahead and renamed that portion to a "Clone Event" as it was an 'Attack of the Clones' type of event and doesn't seem in any way related to District 10 (outside of the files). If it reappears when the official district launches, that can be copied from that thread and be used. Since it is been over for quite some time, I locked it for now. Since the official district hasn't launched, I figured it would be confusing with 2 threads entitled the same. So we will create an official district 10 thread when the land is opened up along with the buildings.

In terms of progress, I just need 3 noise makers for the Rite of Passage. For Jillian, I need Bruce to finish getting the 3rd Kitten and I need the Apartment building (Rite of Passage). Everything else that is available is done (outside the quest line).

For the Rite of Passage, I need 1 Party Hat and 4 Champagne glasses, so should have that completed at latest tomorrow (some tasks for both finish in half an hour). For Jillian, I need to do all 3 of Bruce's Kitten Pickin' ((he's half way through the first) should be done Wednesday-ish), 1 Bunny Ears, and her apartment. So should have Jillian Wednesday to Thursday depending on when I go on the game.

Thanks for the kind words Mopurglar. Used my special powers to do some more organization. This thread has now been trimmed down to it's purpose - New Years progression/updates. References to Christmas were moved back and the ongoing discussion regarding improvements to this forum got it's own thread (left in game discussion for now). In terms of the banner I will see if I can figure out how to change it over, it may be limited to Evil Stewie only, not sure. |

Unlocked Jillian last night with the helpful tips regarding noise makers. Building banks dropped a noisemaker for each one built.

I built two extra banks for the noise makers, and now I only need to do Bruce's tasks. I may be able to start the third one before I go to school tomorrow, if not I'll finish it Wednesday afternoon.

I've only had Jesus pay out 2 clams once, on the first time i set him on that task. Since then ,it's been three other attempts and no further clam drops. Being as he's not being used at the moment for anything, i don't mind having him held up every 24hrs trying to get clams
As for the NYE stuff, on the first night i did spend some clams speeding up the building of stuff, but since then, have only used a few clams. Was very tempted just to spend the 100 clams on the apartment block, but resisted as items dropped quite well for me, got Jillian last night. Just progressing through this questline and the NYE questline and that's job done for me, everyone will be on 24hr tasks until the next mini event, or next major event comes into play

I'm trying to debate if the 24 hour for clam is worth it, or if I should level him. Cleveland mentioned he unlocks an 8 hour task for clams - so I was thinking that'd be a better deal. Might only be 1 clam, but then he would fit into my schedule better. Not sure if this task still exists though... In terms of my progress, I love how I triggered the last task for Jillian to chase butterflies, but then her own quest line wanted her to do the same thing (along with Chris' 1 minute task). 2 birds with one stone! Thinking the quest line will be done today. Didn't the promo show an outfit for Brian? Did that get delayed or pulled? Does it appear at the end of the quest line? |
