Well they just introduced New Years Brian and Jillian skins. You collect items for Jillian and pay 150 clams for Brian. Yep, 150 clams for a skin. That's too expensive for me. I've got puppy and pink Brian skins that I already enjoy. Don't need another for clams.

Not ashamed to say I have tapped my ass off and lost some sleep to get a few of them (Pee Pants comes to mind). But 150 clams for what'll most likely be 1-2 outdoor tasks is just too steep. It's a shame they made it premium because now that I don't have all the skins I won't feel the need to go after every one to complete the collection. Now if they had made Tuxedo Brian come with the New Years cocktail bar I would've been more likely to buy. Even though it's the Blam! Sommelier reskinned it looks pretty sick in black. |

Got Brian's skin but his 2-hour task-- adjust bow-tie-- which drops black necklace for Jillian's skin is an indoor task. I hope the 150 donut skin is worth it; hopefully a joint task with Jillian when she gets her skin.

Looks like they've taken away Lois' bracelet-dropping task and Peter's necklace-dropping task. I haven't gotten to the part in the questline where I'll need those tasks, so I'll see what happens when I get there.
TinyCo has a habit of analyzing metrics as they go along and changing the rules mid-stream. Usually, they wait for people to buy premium stuff, then change the rules to make things easier. This is the first time I can remember that they've actually tweaked the rules to make things harder. IMO, probably b/c they weren't selling many cocktail bars / Tuxedo Brian's, and the extra rare items seem to be dropping pretty quickly.
FG addicts just sent them an inquiry, so I guess we can look forward to the usual about-face for publicity's sake.
