Clearing 2 of the mini plots blocking out the new area! At first I saw the new forest area, then when scrolling over there saw the new area. Excited since I didn't have anything going on. Finally new quests and characters! Wonder if I was added to the game! Tsto: gamergd3 yes and no you will be with District 8 but they still haven't changed the picture of the buildings |

Does it bother anyone else that the fireworks don't have a sound effect to them? Maybe it because I've been playing TSTO too, but it's just weird that the fireworks are silent!

So it looks like we can't clear the lot with the new building yet. It's telling me to finish what I'm doing and come back. Guess I'll just finish clearing the lots on that side of town and maybe it'll be ready when I'm done. Fortunately I saved up enough coin that I can clear all the new land, but I'm going to wait on the forest side since I want to be able to start the new district as soon as possible.
Not so sure about the 1% chance of clams from the Rupert boxes. I bought 100 and the best I did was coins a few times. Maybe I needed to do all 100 back to back, but if that's the case then it doesn't really seem like a 1% chance.

My second worker is being put to work! First I had both new buildings constructed (4th of July ones), now I'm clearing plots 2 at a time.
I'll start to clear the forest area soon as I just started the final 2 pieces on the east side. After I see how long they take I may only have 1 worker over there. But I think initially I'll double team it. I thought I read district 8 launches on the 11th, so I have a few days to clear the new forest plots. If not, no big deal, not in a huge rush either.
Kind of wish I got the 3rd worker for the Cinco de Mayo promo, but oh well.

the night before they will add the freemium decorations and buildings for the district and they still have to fix the building images for bob's funland and quahog cinema first

People that spent 100k on the 4th of July boxes and mad about the additional land. That's why I only spent like 40-50k worth and still had 300k. I want the achievement, and I wanted to be ready for future updates (which will now delay the achievement a lot). |
