"Credit for discovering this glitch goes to one of the commenters on the FGTQFS Addicts Blog.

First, you must defeat King Butt (it doesn't matter what level of shots you are at). Next, after he throws up and is flushed down the throne, during the 60 seconds before you are leveled up to the next shot multiplier close the game completely (don't just exit it). Now wait five minutes before you open up the game. When it's opened you will have approximately 20 more shots added to your total! Continue defeating King Butt with the copious amount of new shots you receive with this glitch, until you don't want anymore idols that is.

I checked it works.. If you need boost to get King Butt, this might help. It gives you 20 shots of each color.

I did it back to back just for hell of it, and made 50k butts very very quickly.

Hmm, so that's how I had the extra shots. I never did get the 50x one - I tried to beat the system and stall the time by bringing out the statue. Turns out, it resets the meter. So then I just blew through the shots I had defeating him numerous times.

So I will grind out some shots, stock up some booty, then terrorize the booty box. I can't seem to get the items I want from it attempting the trick. I've tried it various ways and I'm still stuck with the stinking skate parks or yachts or flammable garden thing.

Simple, just let it reset.  If you have the real King Butt, pull out the golden statue and start over.

If not, perhaps storing the throne will reset it.  Not sure though.

Just spun 11 times - got one of the statues (2x), 2 more petercopters, 2 lincoln memorials, 5500 idols, and rest was junk. Continuing to spam it until I get the other statue - and maybe some clams. Depends, only got like 4 hours left, and just doing it when I can - not actively doing every 5 minutes.

I defeated him 6 times in a row yesterday without the cheat, unfortunately I'm now stuck on the only colour I don't have enough of and the time left is longer than the event has to run.
The other problem is, the last time I defeated him, the mummies stopped coming too.

There seem to be a lot of us who are no longer getting the mummies.  I sent them a message, but I doubt they'll do anything for us.  I really wish I had known about this cheat earlier.  I would have used it.  I can't get the other ones to work and I really don't like manipulating my games, but at this point it seems only fair since this event is clearly a cash grab.

I'm in the same boat unless I speed up the tasks in hope of getting the 25 blue shots I need. I'm currently on 18.

if you are thinking of speeding up the tasks and if you have enough you could also do the airplane mode method to try to get the color you need from the sarcophagus

I did not have enough clams to get a Sarcophagus so my last resorts was speeding up task which failed as well.

yeah I just tried to see if you can put the throne in the inventory to reset the timer and it won't let you....

sorry, I posted it as soon as I saw the glitch which was posted kinda last minute.

for those who already have King Butt, putting the gold Peter statute resets the timer.
