Well, I have just topped the 100k butts without spending a single clam....an epic grind. Overall thoughts as many have said, a cash grab at every corner which became a bit unpleasant in the end and it did feel like they were making it up as they were going along. But pleased I have got the lot that is available for nothing plus a couple of premium items from the booty box which was a nice bonus edit...no use of glitches either

I think that Tinyco is more of a cash grab then EA and here's why These are just the Top Grossing for Google Play so it may be different on Apple

Just checked the App Store on iOS-- Tapped Out currently at #14, Family Guy at #27. I, personally, am done buying clams if FG continues their ridiculous push for premium content and their "Easter boxes" type for prizes that many of us hated in Tapped Out. As Consuela aptly says, "No no no."

I left a suggestion for Tinyco that during events that we should have an equal amount of premium items and event currency items like if it's something to help the main quest it shouldn't be premium

I'm happy that we got Cleveland during this event. Beyond that I really have nothing positive to say. I'm so annoyed, I don't even really have anything constructive to say.

Just a money grabbing event. I have just noticed that they are selling these Hot mess Mummies out now for clams to get people to buy them to get the last rewards.
I finished the Simpsons event a couple of days a go and there was no need to use donuts to have any chance of getting the rewards. But I worked hard every day to complete the daily task and visit neighbours which should be happing with game like this as well

I liked the event but I had a few suggestions.
1- Have an event timer. I received a notice from the game that the event was ending in two hours. The event didn't end for four and a half hours.
2- Keep event items available in the shop after resource collection is over. Keep them around 24 hours to a week so casual players can still buy their crap after the event ends.
3- Have shorter tasks that generate resources. I don''t see why the buildings that cost clams didn't give out 10 every ten minutes. For the cost, they weren't worth it at all. Quicker finish times would make for a more engaging event that would keep players interested.
4- Prices of special "drop item" buildings were high. More variety in prices would help. And maybe have those produce butts too.
5- No coin items in the lottery! I admit I manipulated the lottery to beat the event. Truthfully it was the only way I was willing to spend real money, once I knew the trick. Those who never figured it out probably din't feel happy with their rewards. Even a lava tub or tree is better than a stupid skatepark.
6- Use more small items with special actions. I love the covenant! More actions would be nice.
7- Most importantly, I believe the event should be beatable if you play a ton. I played a ton and would have never beat it without the trick. Their are a lot of people on the msg boards who only got to 50%. I think this will alienate a lot of players. Beating the event shouldn't cost any money. Gaining the extras should be the money makers. A solution would be to make the clam items do more. Some could be good for future events or drop items that a certain character would drop.
All and all I like the game. Even so, if I didn't find the trick, I would have been disappointed with the event overall.
One more general suggestion. Create a way to gamble with your coins for special items or clams. That will keep players logging in to collect coins. Might also help if there were buildings that generated higher coin amounts.

YES TO ALL OF THE ABOVE..... Ridiculous that players have to use glitches to beat an event satisfactorily.. If it was tapped out I might kick myself for glitching so much, but for this game? I was already at that 'I'm not getting everything oh well, F-U Tinyco' point when I saw the glitch... At first it didnt work, but with some tweaking I got it to work great, and as I look at my covenant, 2 dj booths, and Quagmire plane, Peter Copter, and watch King Butt walk around, I don't feel bad at all for stickin it to em... Got all that stuff off $1.99, Now I have about $50 worth of clams as well, which makes up for the $ I spent getting stupid unanimated buildings to help collect items for adventurer peter and Cleveland...

Well, that was a very anticlimactic end. I loaded the game and got only a brief "the event has ended" message. In my head, I thought "woo-hoo!".
All of the Egyptian items have been placed into my inventory, except for the pyramid (for the added color), a couple party palm trees (again for the color), one each of the statutes, and King Butt's throne (which the game won't let you store).
Placed the Museum and Cleveland's house (a nice surprise), so now I'm mostly out of land. Any word when the next District opens up?

So did they just scrap the jelly yo shot bars, the sand bar, and King Butt's guyliner? Since I don't see any point to them being released now
