What's wrong with them? And maybe if there's a specific system that's the issue. I have had no issue with it on neither my S4, S5, Galaxy Tab 3, and Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, only the S4 being rooted but they all seem to spawn regularly. And my sister has never mentioned any issue with it her have having an IPhone 5s and IPad Retina

The issue is the spawn rate.  Try not playing the game for 8 hours then log in.  You will see like 10-16 mummies.  Keep the game running for 10 minutes straight.  You will see like 10 mummies in that time frame.

So basically you are encouraged to keep the game running 100% of the day, especially if you aren't dropping $$ for idols.  

Furthermore, I wrote a major complaint to them yesterday outlining the goals of the event.  Basically what I said was if they continue events like this one, they will quickly lose their entire player base.  The free players will be pissed they couldn't get majority of it.  The light spenders will feel cheated they paid something, but still missed out on some, several or few prizes.  The heavy spenders will have major purchase regret and not do this in the future.  So basically they will kill off the players if they don't make the events playable and all prizes attainable for daily fremium players.

That doesn't sound like a bug, but more of a reward for grinding it through. If they keep spawning at the same rate while away for so long you'll have 240 mummies ribbing around. That can cause a huge congestion and maybe even crash in some devices. I thought the pee pants outfit was tougher to get without clams.

This thread wasn't saying it was a bug, saying it's bad design.  Basically to achieve all of the prizes, the main goal is mummy tapping.  To achieve that goal, one must leave the game open for hours on end.  Again, not a bug - just a fatal design.  

If we were to do that with Tapped Out, people would be freaking out.  Whacking Day people hated that the snakes capped at 6 hours (people thought it should be longer than that).  So say for Whacking Day you had to leave the game open for the entire day, and repeating that for an entire month just getting the snakes.  You'd certainly trim out the fan/user base with a design like that.  Then that was the main/easiest way, just to get Miss Springfield.  Well it would generate dozens more complaints, and only some people would have the limited prize. 

That is what will happen for this event.  Few people will get King Butt, and hundreds of people will feel dissatisfied for putting in hours of effort without getting the highest prize.

If you follow the game on FaceBook, there are many people commenting saying they don't have Cleveland yet (obviously unaware of our trick on the forum).  Then they have to get the Cleveland skin as well - and there's only a week to go.  People are saying this game is a cash grab at every corner, and unhappy costumers will ultimately delete the game.  Fewer players, but then that will be less money for Tinyco.

Its a joke and if it continues I will just delete this app. I would rather have the simpsons tapped out wheel then being forced to buy overpriced clams to get most of the rewards for an event. What's there email so I can put my point across.

No specific email, if you click the right-most button from those that start on the bottom left, go to "contact us".  In game chat with developers - they respond when they get a chance.  I usually see a response within 4 hours.

To my post, they said "Thanks for the suggestions, we will look into this to help improve the game in the future".

I'm going to go it on a limb here and say that freemium players shouldn't be able to get all the prizes unless they play the game fanatically. They should reserve their complaints and understand that no one works for free. If your not prepared to pay with your time instead of your wallet then these games will serve you no good. It's one or the other - pay your price.

Us premium players are having a whinge that there's too much stuff we have to buy. I've got it all and just cracked 200k idols. My event inventory is choccas.. If there was a way to offload idols to freemium players I would be glad to share the butt love but I'm burdened with buttloads of butts and the certainty that more buttloads are on the way. Alas.

At the moment I'm pretty fed up with this event and tiny co. I have no idea how many mummies are supposed to be spawning or how often. When they introduced the sarcophagus update my spawn rate when the game was closed dropped to almost nothing. I was leaving the game open for hours just to get the mummies right as they came out of the pyramid. I contacted tiny co shortly after this started and it took them 3 days to even respond to me. I'm not sure how everyone else gets such quick responses but maybe you could give me the secret. I told them what was happening and asked if it was supposed to be like that or if it was a bug. I told them that i knew of others having the same problem. And expressed that I was pretty disappointed not to get the clown skin for peter because my clowns didn't spawn correctly and how I didn't want to miss out on prizes for this event for the same reason. When they finally got back to me all I got was some crap ass computer generated response about they push the updates differently for android and iOS. And I just need to wait for iOS to push the update I'm waiting for. But if I'm playing cross platform I could continue just to play on my android until the update comes out for iOS. I only have an iOS device and never said anything about cross platform playing. (I can post a pic of the convo if anyone would care to see it). Anyway...so that was Friday night and I immediately sent them a response back and haven't heard back from them yet. And so god help me if I get another generic response. Shortly after I responded to them I got an App Store update. It was just labeled big fixes. It seems to have fixes my mummies...or so I think as I have no idea what it's supposed to be. I now have a couple dozen when I log in in the morning, but they are no longer spawning every minute. It seems to be more like every 5 minutes. I don't even know what to think about these damn mummies anymore.

I feel I have put in as much effort as possible.  I'm playing hourly for about 12 hours of the day, 4-5 days a week with 4 hours on the other 2-3 days, and 8s overnight.  I went ahead and bought the large shrine to help too.  But it looks like it won't be enough.  When I was about to check on the mummies, I saw my game was updating automatically... (!?).  So I just logged in now and finally had a parade of mummies just spilling out of the pyramid.  So it seems that they finally got things straightened for IOS.

I want to be premium, but their events are turning me the other way.  There's just way too much.  Tapped Out is more under control for events.

Just to join the debate....I have not spent any clams on this event either speeding anything up for costumes/characters or on any butt multipliers and am currently sat on a total butt count of 58500, with cleveland unlocked and unlocked the alternative outfit this morning (without using the method to drop the items).

Yes I have invested an awful lot of time into this event and stated at the start that I hoped that Tinyco had done the maths to enable you to get all the prizes without spending cash, I will certainly get the 70k butt prize, and what you need for King Butt is still unkown so I don't if everything is possible but the vast majority is attainable for free, just a case of having a glitch free game and a schedule which allows for high butt yeilding tasks.

I too have seen the facebook moans about stuff not dropping for characters and costumes....put some time into the game is what I say.

I have spend 23 euros on this game and I am very sorry I did. I won't be doing that again any time soon. I haven't spent a dime on TSTO since I started playing in december 2013 and managed to complete all events (except Easter). I am nowhere close to earn all the prices in this event.

I work 40 hours a week and have a commute of 3 hours a day in which I hardly have a data connection. If the only way I can earn everything is by either spending my hard earned euros or playing the game 24/7, than I'll pass.

I gotta agree on the freemium view. There's essentially 3 ways to play the game. You either pay and can sit back and relax without much grinding, depending how much you spend will likely get everything. Not pay, but plan and grind to get the most you can but possibly still miss on certain perks. It not pay or grind, but likely will be missing out on many LE items and go at a much slower pace. There is a doth possible of paying and grinding which will lead you to have excess amount of stuff you'll have no use for.

But you can't get mad at the developers for trying to get paid. This app has zero ads, so it's essentially funded on just in app purchases. Without funding you'll get little if any updates, extremely faulty coding and horrible customer service. The game would eventually get abandoned without any purchase

I've bought 2 idol shrines and 2 of those mystery box type things and I only have 35000 idols. There's no way I will get all the prizes
