Well I just got it started... let's see how it turns out now. Peter has 5 hours left of being fished, but Cleveland and Quagmire started their 4 hour ones. Too bad I was busy using their visual tasks, or I'd have had a free-be.

I didn't think I'd get any of the last three prizes. Now I figure I'll at least get the swordsman, and we'll see how the rest goes. Which isn't bad for a freemium player who's only checking the game about every four hours.

And further to that, if you hit the jackpot everyday your looking at 45k butts. 150*50*6 days

Nice. I had 15 emblems to go last night when I finished up friends and cleared my town: figured I'd stay up until one more friend tapped me, and then passed out. So I got the anvil first thing when I woke up.
That's good news about the butts. I just got the party pyramid yesterday, so you're saying I might manage two more prizes at least? Cool.

You really won't be hitting the jackpot without spending clams, unless the buildings that drop them are not premium, and even then.
It took me hundreds of clams to defeat king butt the last two times.

I'll wait on using clams, how the event has gone so far there should be updates on their way to make things easier. Besides I have no use for any more idols unless the goal becomes 400k or something

Ok so if i have over 100k butts do i need to participate in this jellyo quest?? Is it required to unlock king butt?

Yes, I think you have to defeat him twice for him to unlock.  Should just be 11 jelly shots (3 for round 1, 8 for round 2).

So if you reset the timer does it start over where you would need the lowest number again? Or does it keep it at whatever you are at? So if I need 40 and don't get there do I still need 40 or do I need the 3 or 4 that it started at...? The common sense thing might be to hoard until 5 days and spend all my shots then, I do not see me keeping my bonus every 24 hours and do not see 100k possible if I do not keep my bonus.

I'm starting to think it's not really going to matter if it's today or on the final day.  Realistically, even saving all the shots I'm pegging at most it would be like 1-3 a day's worth depending how the colors line up.

So at max at the fremium level, would be:

3 characters x 6 (4 hour) intervals (assuming perfect 24 hour period of resetting) = 18 jello shots / day
6 days left in the event (from the time of this writing) so 108 possible jello shots - assuming all bonus rounds are 8 shots each, 13 times to defeat (14 if you count the initial 3 shots).

14 x 150 + (13 x 150) + ... idols = 15750 (assuming it's a constant variable for multiplying defeats).  

Basically I think if people had begun the defeat process, it might be best to continue daily.  Else you risk breaking the multiplier.  Unless one is truly dedicated, you are more looking at 15 shots a day (90 total shots with 11 defeats).  With 11 defeats, you'd be looking at 8250 bonus idols.

-This is assuming the rate remains constant at 8 shots per round after round 1
-This is assuming the player can perfectly time the reset of shots 5-6 times throughout a day
-This also assumes an equal balance of the 3 colors.  If you are short on a color or there's some time of random next color - will be much harder since if you drain 8 of a single color then the next round may be that same color again.

According to a post on reddit:

1st round 3 shots.
2nd is 8.
3rd is 25.
4 & 5 is 40. 

Frankly I wouldn't bother saving them up as I can't see it making much of a difference.
