I'm from Amsterdam... I laugh at the American variety of Gay Pride. On top of that I grew up in a very gay environment because of my mother's lifestyle. And even when I was still in school a friend of mine told me he was gay, and I was the first he told it to and I sat next to him in class (continued to do so for 2 more years). I couldn't care less about anyone's sexual preference. Also, more gays means more women for me and Quagmire. In short: I love gays! No homo. The Float will get a cozy spot in my town, once I can afford the coins and the space. Amsterdam was where I saw my first ever gay pride parade and being from a small city in Scotland it was a bit of a reality check but a brilliant day out. Man what a superb day it turned out to be...lots of fantastic people and some really crazy fetishists and a whole lot of herbal enlightenment lol No one could recognise me with my gimp mask on I keeeed but some of the outfits I seen left little to the imagination.

I think the float will be fabulous. Probably will not make this years pride event, so this will be nice.
It reminds me of the insecurities of sticks of wood, tied together and used as fuel for a fire. Bitches gonna bitch. Move along. There's nothing to see here..
Could you please elaborate on this?

I can but I won't. I said something in a way to sidestep offence of the unintelligent and probably the rules. So no, no elaboration. Just a riddle.

I didn't even think about this. As soon as I saw the float in the build menu, I bought it. Even before I got the task to place it. Never even crossed my mind that it might offend someone, until I saw this thread. Oh well, I should have known. This is the world we live in I guess.

Oh dear I have heard it all now. That one guy saying being gay is a choice and a minority lifestyle. He is so uneducated, naive and darn right idiotic. Cannot stand people like him.

As a gay man myself, I would find it comical for any Family Guy fan to take issue at such a decoration. Seth McFarlane openly supports gay rights, so to play a game based on a show created by an advocate of issues you don't hold true would be highly hypocritical in my opinion.
I choose not to support businesses that support anti-gay establishments and I would imagine the reverse to be the same for Homophobes.
From what I've read in this thread thus far, it doesn't seem to me that anyone on these boards truly has an issue with homosexuality but unfortunately this will always be a gray area for some.
In conclusion, live and let live. I'll go about my business and you go about yours. Frankly I don't want anyones lifestyle flaunted in my face.

familyguytips has a great idea on his blog:
"Why doesn’t TinyCo just go all out and give us a Gay Pride event, with Jasper as an unlockable limited time character?!"
Can someone suggest this to TinyCo? It'd be especially awesome since Gay Pride month is almost here.

I'm not gay, I have gay friends though, and some of the horror stories they tell of growing up and facing discrimination scares me. As a disabled person I've faced discrimination, but I've never been beaten up because I'm a 'raspberry ripple' (my choice of phrase to describe myself). So I was happy to place my float in town, I struggle when I see how insular and downright ugly the human condition can be. In answer to the OP's question it's a task on a game, that comes from a show that determinedly sets out to shock, through humour, to raise important issues. As Seth McFarland is a Gay Rights Activist I would be more shocked not see it mentioned. Once placed if you're really that bigoted that you can't understand why Gay Pride takes place shove the damn thing in you're inventory after completing it and forget about. Jeez get a life buddy....
