I'm still here btw, just got back from Disney World (FL). No way would I have enjoyed it being glued to the game. um pretty much every major event has been a huge grind. Only when you buy premiums does it make things easier. They all start the same making it easy to complete the first weeks content on time, then jack up the costs. It's all the same gameplay just recycled every. Damn. Time. They get this complaint every event, but this has not changed in the slightest. In terms of TSTO, while the lack of characters is certainly unusual, it's still kept me playing. Any good rides at Disney World? I've been to Disneyland a few times but have yet to go to Disney World. Hope to make it there some day. A lot of it is the same as CA unfortunately, but I think it's all still different in their own way. So I would still recommend Splash/Space/Thunder Mountain in Magic Kingdom, Soarin'/Test Track at Epcot, Mount Everest in Animal Kingdom, and Toy Story Mania/Tower of Terror/Rock N' Roller coaster at Hollywood Studios. There's obviously many other great attractions and shows in each of the 4 parks - but the 'world' layout is great having multiple parks and not one giant park. Definitely recommend a trip! I've been to both CA and FL Disney, and recommend FL over CA due to a better layout and newer experience. |

So last night TinyCo releases Maniac Pope and Super Devil for 125 clams each and place them in the event tab under characters. Marked by the red exclamation point when you log in that something new has been added for purchase. So I purchased 275 clams for $9.99 and purchase both Maniac Pope and Super Devil and send them on their first quest. Log in this morning and see that they are removed from the game, but their quest icon is still in the corner of my screen. Ok so some kinda bug with them that's going on and they will be back after their both fixed. Log in tonight to a text box saying we screwed up releasing both these characters, but here is your clams back and 10 more for the inconvienence. I don't want my clams back as I wouldn't have purchased them if those characters weren't there. TinyCo I want a $9.99 refund or the 2 characters I purchased back. This was clearly your mistake and not mine or other players that also fell victim to this blatant bait and switch. The sky is definitely the limit with this company folks. I feel completely tricked and ripped off. And wtf is 10 clams going to do? Talk about insult to injury. They'll come out this Thursday when the final (extension) phase of the event is released. I just hope reels will come easier the final week as 750 reels for Hook Hand Albert is a pain.  |

I should have griped sooner... Right after I wrote that post, finally dropped the last item for Patrick. I dropped 25 clams to get the five tongues (@ 5 clams each) to unlock Ruth.. Though I'm not sure why I bothered, she'll end up in inventory like the other 100 useless characters I have stored. Maybe because net cost was only 5 clams? I still don't have the last prize on page 4 unlocked.. Need more reels but have to do the four magnets first.

This is why I don't have Greased Up Deaf Guy. Should not have to finish characters with minimal clams. This really turned me off of the game. I was really dedicated and would log into the game every 4-6 hours for those tough drops and get SO CLOSE, but then oh wait let's expire the content. So then you get that obligation to use up clams just to get a FREE content item. To me that's bad practice. Thankfully Tapped Out doesn't have these complex unlock requirements. Unlike FG, it's also uniform as well so like anything under 2 hours and 1 minute is 2 donuts. Where in Family guy something could be 1 clam under 45 minutes, or even still like 5-10 clams for 45 minutes (looking at you hiring facilities [goons, firefighters, concert event staff, etc]). |

Got everything I wanted this event-- 7 new characters and 2 new skins and didn't spend clams on premium items; definitely a first for me. |

Just got him and now I need 876 reels to get the pope in 37 minutes of pay another $100. I'm done with this money pit of a game, 6 weeks with 3 characters, 2 skins and 1 decoratio. The first is doable with proper heads up but you need $400 to get the last 5. You could get the first 4 but get way behind but the last 2 will set you back $200 all this for free prizes and unlike TSTO the clam prices stay fixed no matter how many reels you have. This has been the worst event so far, I'm sure next weeks event will be all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$. |

Glad it's over. I only got as far as Death's Mom unlocked but didn't spend any cash, did use all the free clams I had saved though. If the next big event is this money grabbing I might skip it or stop altogether. I don't mind spending a bit now and again but it's getting beyond a joke.

Which characters did you miss? I got 7 characters this event-- Slasher Cat, Death, Death's mom, Death's dog, Patty, Esther and Ruth. Missed out on Hook hand Albert and Maniac Pope because of the high reel requirement to get them but not a big deal to me; TinyCo missed out as I didn't spend money on premium characters this event which is a first for me. |

The events are time-consuming and am planning to scale back playing events in this game and Tapped Out especially with the holidays coming up. |

I managed the same 7 characters.. All good. I never made it to level 17 to get the last week of content...
