I just updated myself. New Icon but nothing else yet.

Discription says it will have Death, Michael Myers, Chucky, and your favorite Halloween villains.

I hope they release Freddy Kruger again as I missed him as I hadn't started playing the game yet.

Slasher Cat is available at the Movie Projection Booth for a limited time.

Slasher Cat is unlockable for 24 hours after purchasing the prizes before him and viewing him at the Movie Projection Booth. If he is not completely unlocked before the timer runs out, he will disappear from the game at that time. If he is unlocked before the event ends, you will be able to continue his quests after the event has ended.

​So as soon as they tell us what we need to get to unlock him I'll pass it along. But don't get the prize before him or you start the clock.

So it looks as if Death can be unlocked within the first week. Seeing as he's the only character I wanted I can play for a week then take a month off. Sweet. Could care less about Meg's friends, slasher cat, hook man etc. It would all just end up in inventory eventually anyways. I'd like Chucky, Mike Myers and any other horror movie icon they might throw in but I'm not willing to spend the time and money to get them. 

Their profits must really be hitting bottom for them to make Death so easy to get. I bet they lost a lot of players after making Greased Up Deaf Guy so hard to get so now they're trying to lure people back with Death in week one before turning the screws around week two or three, making the event impossibly convoluted and difficult.

Looks like I spoke too soon. Death won't be obtained in a week. You can't really earn projector reels playing freemium at this point. The only way is to bomb the nuns who drop 1 popcorn with 30 popcorn needed for 1 reel. You can earn 16 popcorn per day max. I forgot how TinyCo works; squeeze people in the beginning, then when they've wrung as much money out of them as they can, open up more ways to progress. You'd think I'd remember after all this time. 

Edit: of course the nuns aren't going to be easy. A tiny little bomb area to hit them, making them extremely difficult, and in my case use a water balloon and nothing. No explosion, nothing. Carter, I'm thinking you have the right idea. Just delete and walk away.

I spent some time getting my evidence ready - and in the mean time had successfully earned Opie and Angela (along with almost all the decor in the the brewery-the carryover items helped significantly) - was only playing like 2 times a day since.  

Right now the event started this morning for me - and making me want to right the wrong and get this over with.  This event just looks like it will require the time I don't have - and will just further agitate me.  Now that I know the details of my massive bill I will be sending over to Tinyco, just need to make sure everything is properly worded in a way that will benefit me.  Once I have the message sent to support, I can screen cap it and have it ready to push to Apple.  Along with their reply.

I don't know why you think you con only get 16PC a day, I just got 20 would have 30 but missed with my 1st one (didn't know what I was doing). If you tap the nun it will stop and all you have to do is tap the weapon and drag it in front of the nun (look for the purple circle) then click the check mark. As long as you have the nun in the purple area and check it everything will be fine, but if the nun gets out before you check it you'll miss it. Hit the x and try again.

Well I've just been all kinds of wrong today. The reason I thought that you could only get 16 popcorn max is because of the info TinyCo provides when you tap the nun. It says you get one popcorn per nun. I wouldn't be surprised if TinyCo made the error and intentionally left it to create a panic in people worried about keeping up to get a few extra clam sales. Thanks for the info about how to hit the nun. I still think I'm going to go for Death and leave the rest of the event alone. It's only going to get more complicated and convoluted as the weeks go on.

Just make sure to screenshot it every time you message them. Twice now I've had them delete my ongoing messages with them. Not ended (with a was this helpful Y/N) but just disappeared as if the message never took place. Just curious, on what basis are you asking for a refund? I was always under the assumption that once enough time had passed that Apple won't do refunds. You don't have to go into detail here if you don't want, was just wondering what your general idea was.

This event is just the same old crap recycled yet again.. Collect something to get something else. Craft something else, then use that to get that other thing.

Boring, boring, boring. I'm glad I don't pay for this garbage.
