Only need tubs of grease now and I get the greased up deaf guy. Looks like the game will be uninstalled tomorrow.

I have many neighbors who have, sadly, abandoned the game as well, including Leilani from this forum.  I'm thinking of ignoring the events altogether or just go freemium the next events and not be frustrated upon not getting all the prizes. I still enjoy the game, to a certain extent, and still look forward to upcoming characters-- like Death-- and hopefully God-- being added to the game. I can understand your frustration. It's been hard to accept that I can't have everything, and it's getting harder to accept that I can't do events freemium either. The nature of the game drives me up the wall to sign in consistently if I want items free. They are more concerned lining their pockets than making players happy. To know that Weird Al was supposed to be free, and they made him premium just shows their greed. Seeing as I (had) been putting in the time (every 2, 4, 6, 8 hour) unless I'm sleeping, yet failing to unlock "free" prizes for 3 events in a row has me frustrated beyond belief. I plan to stick around on the forum, but the game needs to go. |

Yeah, I have a love-hate relationship with the game and didn't, initially, plan on spending money this event since I'm not keen on the artists this event-- and to the game's benefit-- I did unlock Avril and Alice Cooper without spending clams but the game has a way of dragging you back in-- like the addition of greased up deaf guy-- which would be near impossible to unlock without the use of clams. I managed to complete the Tapped Out monorail event without spending donuts-- only spent donuts with the return of the long awaited return of the Mapple Store which was pulled from the game when I started playing over two years ago. I have to remind myself that these are just games, and in the grand scheme of things, it won't matter if I don't have everything the game has to offer. I'm weaning myself from both games as the events take up much of my time.  |

As you might have guessed from the silhouette, the grand prize for completing the challenges will be Meccha Astley
The new 5-clam questline will be so time intensive that they actually refer to it as the week 6 grind quest. There are 8 parts:
1a Defeat Mecha Astley
1b Clear 3 Gold Robots
1c Have Meg Look for Flashy Outfits
2a Perform 2 Rock Sideshows
2b Have Avril Lavigne Write New Songs
3a Defeat Mecha Astley
3b Clear 6 Gold Robots
3c Have Meg try a Trendy Diet
4a Perform 3 Rock Sideshows
4b Have Avril Lavigne Instigate a Riot
5a Defeat Mecha Astley
5b Clear 9 Gold Robots
5c Have Lois Rip T-shirt Sleeves
6a Perform 3 Pop Sideshows
6b Have Chris Eat a Large Ham
7a Defeat Mecha Astley
7b Clear 12 Gold Robots
7c Have Avril Lavigne Fight Polar Bearshark

Out of all the crap I had to go through with this event and they didn't even offer clams for getting all the characters this event, but you could get 5 from the impossibly hard quest line.

TinyCo slacking in that department this event but not in selling high cost of premium stuff. Did anyone even buy the neon lion for 700 clams this event?! |

I know I'm a freemium player so I can't expect to win everything in this game but how frustrating has this game been! I'm no where near unlocking gudg and thats sad. I thought there was another week. This event was all about how much money will you spend. Quick question. Thanks It's not 50 extra rares, and it's not instant unlock. He was probably one of the easiest ones as he only took a few days to unlock. This game is beyond frustrating. I need like 16 tubs of grease to get GUDG. Won't happen without an extension, which won't happen. They made him way too difficult to get, despite being known for 2 weeks. The first week I hardly got any grease, as I would always get coins from the gold robots. The mechanics were impossible to hire as Chris was needed for quests and items, the wrench should have been an "always" drop, and we needed additional resources to generate wrenches. The grease should be always or be like 50 instead of 70. That's way too high. Plus Peter only did 1 damage and was solo for while, so Mecha Rick was really hard to take down. |

Event officially over. The best part of the event for me are the free album downloads (not exactly free as I paid for the premium characters). |
