 Now we have a music festival event featuring...... Snoop Dogg Deadmau5 Weird Al Alice Cooper Rick Astley (of RickRoll fame) and last but definitely least... Avril Lavigne Yup that's right. An event with nothing Family Guy related. The token female is Avril, I guess to help make the sausage sizzle?? i have absolutely no desire to have any of these people in my Quahog. NONE. I like Weird Al in RL but don't need him in this game. Plus I would guess that Avril, Deadmau5, and Rick will be "free" with Snoop, Al and Alice premium. They have now jumped the shark. They ran through most of the Family Guy characters in the first year so now they will increasingly rely on celebrities and other companies IP's from here on. I predict this game will be dead in a year or so. For those that want more info here's their Facebook post: Peter Palooza edit: it will probably start this Thursday or Friday. |

Really thinking of not trying this time around. Should have done that with Star Trek, but oh well. I figure I'll start it just to see what the new content looks like but I can't see spending the next month grinding for a bunch of celebrities I could care less about. Although I imagine they'll throw in a few canon characters like they did with the Fatfather event to entice people like us who might be inclined to skip it. Maybe Greased Up Deaf Guy or Neil for "free". Then who knows, depending on how convoluted they make the event, they might suck me back in. Bastards. |

He's probably the most wanted out of the six and you can bet TinyCo knows that and will be capitalizing on it. I'm guessing 200-250 clams. This event will be very clam heavy. They have to recoup the $$ they spent to get all six musicians in the game with voice work. |

When does the event start anyone know Looks like next week - got a pop up saying that Meg's Slutty Cat and Connie's Witch costumes from last Halloween are available. So I would imagine Thursday as basically every event starts on Thursday now and runs through a Wednesday. Currently working New Brian, and this time it's the stinkin' flutes that won't drop. Love how they just tie in Peter (just like he was apart of the Blue Earrings that never dropped for Loretta), so when they throw a mini-event/main event, Peter will be needed for limited content. Could have put Tom Tucker or Vinny or someone in the later districts that never have a tie to an event of any size. |

Looks like they're doing what they did with the Fatfather event and adding one or two Family Guy characters amongst all the celebs. So if you want them like Greased Up Deaf Guy, you'll have to run through the event.

Meg and I think one other can't remember I went through them all (it was a blur), unfortunately I sent Peter on 12 hr D11 task now I need him. I wouldn't even hav known it started if I wasn't looking for TSTO to start. Two at the same time again.
