ha, I didn't even realize he was for sale. He's buried in a sea of premium stuff under the decos tab. I don't usually buy premium decos, but for 50 clams, maybe I'll buy him. With 11 sound clips, they could've easily made him a character. I thought for sure Mayor West would say something when I bought Mayor Bee. His lines are hilarious! Best 50 clams I spent this event! You know, rob, sometimes I think you secretly work for TinyCo. I went ahead and bought him. He is indeed hilarious.

I was bored and decided to snoop around a little more. Here are a few more nuggets--hit the spoiler button. The upcoming 24h challenge requires you to:Have Rockstar Peter Attack Mecha Astley 3 Times Have Joe Lion Keep an Eye on Rick Astley Have Carl Party All Night Have DJ Herbert Discuss Social Media Have DJ Herbert Press Play The code from the concert sideshows was essentially copy-pasted, verbatim, from the Star Trek away missions. That's also likely the reason why Hayley had a task to attack Bertram. Presumably, after the Q&A, they wanted to make her useful for this event, but the programmer didn't look too closely at what he was copying. The trenchcoats have a "base" probability of 6%, compared to 5% with the Ferengi Mort billboard. The max number of misses for both is 3, though I'm pretty sure that argument has never worked, because all of the material drops, e.g., eyeballs, also have max misses. Hearing aids have a base probability of 5%, max misses 3--same as the billboard. Barbershop quartet: 15%, max misses 10 Glow sticks: 30% for the first mission, 31% for second mission Lighters: 15% for first mission, 6% for second one Hot air balloon: 10% Looking at the Star Trek event code, there were things back then that actually had much lower base probabilities; e.g., Skimpy Sarong Herbert was 1% Finally, it looks like they recently copied forward a script from the big clam sale they had in January. Feel free to make of it what you will.

If someone mistakenly sent Hayley to attack Bertram, where does she go? I'm curious. She's now missing. Just asking for a friend though.

Feel free to make of it what you will. Thanks for the info. This company is such a joke. I used to think they were just inept with all the bugs and glitches this game has constantly but from what you describe it sounds more like pure laziness. They better be prepared to say goodbye to more players if GUDG continues to be impossibly difficult to get. It's just not smart to make a fan favorite character the centerpiece of your event, then make it so only the biggest whales can obtain him. Don't they realize every time they have us collect a bunch of one item (70!!) it makes people want to give up? Or maybe that's been the plan all along. Cultivate enough whales in the beginning to sustain them while slowly eliminating the rest of the freemiums and $5-10 purchasers that don't contribute much if anything to the bottom line. Less players means less server space to pay for, less customer support staff needed and less resources expended. Why make a game for millions when all you need are 5000 or so whales. Maybe 10,000. But if that's the case it's obviously backfiring. And they can take their sale and shove it up their...clam.

I'm never gonna get Greased up dead guy at this rate. I've cleared a few silvers and four gold... Only one tub of grease. I'm not going to make it in time!!

Oh, and I dropped 250 clams on Tricia's skin, only so I can get microphones.. And have a second person to attack mecha Astley. I've done two sideshows and not a single trench coat yet! This sucks...

I've done like 6-8 sideshows and only gotten shirts once. I got the prize first, and I've only done the first sideshow (trying to unlock Rick first). I've done the Hayley glitch and took down level 4 Mecha robot. That was just barely, it spiked to 20 HP, and was only possible with 2 characters. So I'm letting him respawn while I try to gather more mechanics.
Which really stinks. Peter/Chris are needed (for a higher chance) on the prizes, but are critical to other aspects. The silvers are obviously a waste of mechanics, and it's really impossible to get enough wrenches. They should be always for a 6 hour task and at max most players would only get 8 a day. With the number of robots to clear it's next to impossible to keep up. I just spawned 9 goldens, but only have 2 wrenches right now.
After crunching the numbers, the 24 hour task seems to be best, unless you can play every 2 hours. The 6 hour task pays out 2 (times 4) is 8. Which is the 24 hour pay out. 8 hours is better, assuming you can keep at it every 8 hours. I don't know about you, but that's super hard to time right with work and going to bed at night to get it perfectly in the morning. So unused characters for glowsticks, I just stick them on the 24 hour task (unless they don't have one). Rick only needs like 6 flags and 9 shirts (or 8?) forgot how many pay out from the show. Since I just won like 8 mics, will be doing sideshows all day tomorrow. Probably won't send Chris since I really need wrenches, but will send Peter. As much as I want those records, I don't think I can get Ricardo. Way too many glowsticks needed, and I know Weird Al will cost 5k+. Still short on lighters, the jean shorts as well.
Been sinking way too much time into this event, and will probably sit out some mini events / or the next main event unless it's something I really care for. Lately everything has just been lame content.

With the number of robots to clear it's next to impossible to keep up. I just spawned 9 goldens, but only have 2 wrenches right now. I think it is just like the ST event in that there is something off about the odds for side shows and away missions that makes them not work as intended. For some reason, it seems like when I have 4 characters doing the away mission, I'm more likely to get the high probability item (50 glow sticks) instead of the more desirable low probability item--likely because the game doesn't actually know which item is more desirable; it only knows probabilities for each potential drop. Anecdotally, I've had better results when I've sent just 2 (Alice and Avril) on the away mission. Might try sending only 1-2, kind of like we did during ST, and see how it works for you. After crunching the numbers, the 24 hour task seems to be best, unless you can play every 2 hours. The 6 hour task pays out 2 (times 4) is 8. Lately everything has just been lame content. Sorry it is such a PITA. I bought the 400-clam glow stick generator at the beginning, so I've been okay with glow sticks. I was okay during the last event, too, for the same reason. Honestly, I think they are trying to train players to pay up front if they want to get all of the goodies. The glow stick payout from tasks seems negligible. Maybe concerts will be the way to go? At least until they implement catch up mode. I haven't tried since the latest update, but as recently as last week the secret concert still worked somewhat for Rapper Brian. It would stop after I'd exit the game, but I was able to grind out glow sticks from groupies while it was going on.

It would stop after I'd exit the game, but I was able to grind out glow sticks from groupies while it was going on. It's negligible only if you stick to the schedule. If I put Meg on a 4 hour task, but don't clear it until 8 hours later, you are losing precious glowsticks when you add up the characters and missed opportunities. I don't remember a time where 4 6 hour tasks was the same as the 24 hour task. Normally the 24 was so out of whack it wasn't negligible. Considering many of us work, unless you can do 2s or 4s - it makes more sense to the 24 over 6s/8s/12s. The 24 hour payout matches the 6 hour AND 12 hour, and you only get 1 extra glowstick for the 8 hour. So really the 24 will earn more unless you are glowed to the game.

And I thought my Holodeck concert with Tupac and Biggie was a big deal!

0/2 on side shows today. Got 10 lighters instead of 6 shirts . I could easily have Rick today, but the drop is terrible. Peter's in on his last one, then sending him for LPs. Chris is still getting wrenches.
