King Butt is back (Limited time event)

In the store, there is King Butt and a Pyramid for 1,000 coins. 

You need to get:
40 Ankh's (Uncommon)
5 Sonic Screwdriver (epic)
11 Ghosts (Extra rare)

Event ends on Februray 3rd. 

Unfortunately, I put most of my characters on 1 day quests.

Apparently there's a Best of 2014 mystery box for 125 clams with:

Brian Cranston is 450 clams now, I wouldn't have brought him for 250 either though.
Just put characters on the tasks, but didn't realise majority of the characters that get the Ankh's also get the Sonic Screwdrivers.

I got BC during his event, I forget how much I paid originally but i don't regret it, he is one of my favorite characters and he was a huge help during the event.

Oh I'm so excited!!! My personal "best of 2014" is Jesus. Hope (but don't believe) he will come back. Will trade Bruce Willis in for him.
At the moment I didn't get any offers. I already have all the costumes and characters (thank you very much glitch ). But I will buy some torches and palm trees.

That explains why I don't see like anything. Only decorations from the King Butt event. Surprised we can get more than one Sphinx, Volcano as those were prizes. Way to allow everyone to get them super cheap and easy, unlike that event.

So far for King Butt, I have
5/40 Ankh's, 0/5 sonic screwdrivers, 2/11 Ghosts.
I already had everything else, so this is all I have to get, would be nice if I got him, fingers crossed.

I was pleasantly surprised to see him appear this morning, but taken back at how tricky it will be to try and unlock him. Have decided as he is only around until the 3rd Feb, to concentrate all actions where possible on his items, the problem being, TinyCo have set the same characters with different skins on the same item, or repeated a character in another item. That is annoying and shouldn't be. There are plenty characters to choose from to complete every one of those tass required for items. Just my thought there though. I am looking forward to this mini challenge to get him though

They do it this way since they need to allow all players the opportunity.  Even ones that started this year.  So it should only require the basic set of characters.

I already have him, so I see nothing or know nothing of the requirements.  However, I do know, he was the top prize in their first event... and that was hard as hell to get and you HAD to buy stuff to help you out, or managed to figure out the glitch during the final phase.  It was almost mathematically impossible to do without a single premium item and glitchless.

Im going to try to get him...not sure if i'll make it. I only started the game in the summer so missed alot of these characters. I do have the pyramid already, but without king butt...i dont remember him before either. Was it pissible to just get the pyramid at one time? I think it was one of the first items i ever received and i may be wrong but i think it was free.

I can understand this Carter, and i do agree that it needs to be an even platform for all players, but as a premium player, i just feel we get fleeced all the time when the premium characters and buildings do not really do anything to help after set events they are used for. If a freemium player chooses to not buy premium characters and buildings, that is their choice, and i back that considering that i started as a freemium player too, BUT, when i'm paying real cash for premium currency i expect the characters i've bought to actually do something usefull. In mini events or full events, whatever they may be, they should be used. As you have said previously, they don't even offer a double cash/XP reward, which itself needs to be looked at by TinyCo. I'm so pleased to see that Brian Cranston is doing a 4hr task with a near always/always payout, and Cleveland also has a task as well, possibly because he is now a premium character. But the premium characters need to do more. If they always paid out event items in every event, in some way, believe me, i'm sure more people would be encouraged to buy clams. Right now, apart from Cleveland and Brian Cranston, no others really do anything. Too many of the same character for one item (two Stewie costumes for the sonic screwdriver), two Peter costumes for the Sonic Screwdriver and the cross loooking thingie. There are at least 59 possible characters they can use (it would be 60, but i don't have King Butt)

I have 17/40, 2/5, 3/11. Hopefully the epics and extra rare items drop this weekend.
