Doing not too bad right now, I spent 35 clams to unlock Mort's costume last night so i could have him attacking the Yeti as well, was needed to continue the streak as the 4hr Yeti rest throws my timing off completely!
Currently have
100+ Green stockings
40+ red stockings
30 blue stockings
The target = Jesus
100 blue stockings seems quite a lot, but at this rate, should have him soon

I just sped up Mort this morning for 20 clams. There was some sort of glitch with Lois last night, so now I only have 16 hours to beat the Cowboy yeti. I made a point of staying up until the yeti came back and set her on task to defeat him. When I got up she was just wandering around town and there was no damage to the yeti. No idea what happened, but I know I put her on task. That was the whole point of forcing myself to stay up after a miserably long day. I want to see how I do on damage this first round this morning before I tap Peter. If this Lois glitch happens again, I'm not going to be a happy camper.

Not always possible though, all depends on the timing and whether i can actually get onto my game to restart the 4hr task. |

Anyone doing the silver gift box? Doesn't seem interesting to me except for the clams, but it looks like you might get REPETE prizes. I tried getting the castle. Ended up getting 10 dolls. Do not buy. Only people that enjoy spending $hundreds of dollars on this game should be investing in mystery boxes where the common prize is additional currency. If they removed the cookies and the stocking types, I wouldn't mind a few chances myself. But I'm not paying 75 clams for in game currency. No thanks. 25 clams? Much more likely to get at least 1 box. |

Got Mort's costume this morning! I had gotten John to beat the challenge, and now the 3 of them are beating the tar out of the third form. Time to get 100 stockings for Jesus! Already emptied the fancy box of prizes/building skins, so now it's time to get the last piece of available content. Mort and John's storylines will be on hold for a little while.

If the prizes were decent and NO stupid decorations/cookies/stockings etc, i'd happily spend a few clams on these boxes, but because TinyCo are refusing to budge on their policy of filling premium boxes with crap, i'm not spending a single clam on these. My budget monthly on this game is probably about £25 (not sure what that workd out as in Dollars). I 100% agree with you about the cost of the boxes, at least drop them to 25-30 clams to make it worthwhile. As it stands, they are not worth the premium currency (and i'm a premium player saying that! lol) |

Having seen the bad side in prior events, nothing in the box is absolutely worth it to spend 75 shiny clams on. As I said if they were something more reasonable like 25 (and the clam prizes adjusted accordingly as well) then I may dip into the box to get a few prizes. |

No I did. Actually paid money to see those movies in the theater in the days before you had to sell a kidney to get tickets and popcorn.  Maybe if they stopped after the first one they wouldn't bother me so much. Well that and Bruce Willis just grinds my gears for some reason. I think it goes back to Moonlighting. That show was terrible. I never watched Moonlighting myself but have seen and enjoyed many of his movies over the years. I'm just amazed how TinyCo manages to get these iconic characters in the game while EA/ Tapped Out has yet to do any guest voice actors in the game in 3 years. not to mention they still haven't added maggie |

I never watched Moonlighting myself but have seen and enjoyed many of his movies over the years. I'm just amazed how TinyCo manages to get these iconic characters in the game while EA/ Tapped Out has yet to do any guest voice actors in the game in 3 years. not to mention they still haven't added maggie I remember when I first started playing. I unlocked Milhouse and he didn't make a single sound. That had disappointed me a lot off the bat - an iconic character and yet didn't make a single peep. That's where Family Guy is leaps and bounds over TSTO. I think there's only 1 character that doesn't talk (Human Rupert), but everyone else has great lines. TSTO needs to put some money back into the game and at the least get the main characters some voice. While characters like Scorpio can still be soundless, I'd expect more frequent characters (Milhouse, Fat Tony, Rod Flanders, etc) to have some lines. |

I agree with you Carter. Vinny didn't speak at first and I was dissapointed. I like his "Estudio" line in the show and I'm happy about his lines now. Love accents, even pseudo accents. ^^ To get back to the event: I did the same like dave3490 and leilani and speeded Mort's skin up for 30 donuts. Since the event started I already got so many donuts, that it didn't hurt so bad as it usually would. Now I've two chances to clear four of the yetis powerbars. Fingers are crossed. ^^  |

EA started to see the Dollar signs with premium currency and let the game falter, with too many unvoiced characters, that was it, especially after they released Number One WITH NO VOICE!!! I mean, c'mon, seriously? It's Number One, a character with lots of really funny lines in the Stonecutters episode, and they release him with no voice. I was discusted at that. At least FGQFS (TinyCo) is going all out with voices, they have so many celebrity voices and cool movie characters it's just miles ahead of TSTO. OK, FGQFS has Human Rupert unvoiced, but i don't have him, and no doubt they will voice him in the future. TSTO will never invest the kind of money that FGQFS has invested in getting celebs to come in and lend their voices to the game. |
