I agree with you Carter. Vinny didn't speak at first and I was dissapointed. I like his "Estudio" line in the show and I'm happy about his lines now. Love accents, even pseudo accents. ^^ To get back to the event: I did the same like dave3490 and leilani and speeded Mort's skin up for 30 donuts. Since the event started I already got so many donuts, that it didn't hurt so bad as it usually would. Now I've two chances to clear four of the yetis powerbars. Fingers are crossed. ^^  I think quite a few players have eventually dropped clams for Mort's costume now, he is needed, especially if you are a freemium player and don't have John McClane. Although you only earn 10 snowflake stockings each time you beat the third incarnation of the Yeti, day by day the total builds up. It's all about what your targets are. Mine now is to get Jesus, any updates on Thursday night can wait until i have Jesus roaming around my town and attacking the Yeti with John McClane lol |

Ok I know I've said this before and so have a bunch of other people, what the hell are they doing with the damn blimp either give us the quest or get it out of my town I'm tired of looking at it. That being said does anyone have any info on it lol lol It is a very frustrating element of the game right now, quite a lot of players are fed up seeing it, it's mentioned lots of times on facebook, and it's my only gripe with the game, i want that finished so i can move on from it, it's an eyesore now |

Yea, high five phoebexlois, my crew made it too.  I'm glad for you because you didn't suppose to win the challenge before. I hope there will be something really good as "grand prize". I don't have John McClane and really needed Hanukkah Mort. So it will be the best to get Jesus first, before I open the boxes? I just opened the snowflake box once and got the stupid throne. I don't even remember what's still in the box. There's no useful stuff for blue stockings or is there? |

Well I hoped for a building that drops 5 blue stockings each hour  not for a handful of stockings  I think I'll manage to get all the gingerbreadmen but I'm not sure to get all the stockings in time. Although dave's right that they'll sum up. I don't have anything specific to do now so I'll focus on collecting blue stockings and wait for what the new update will bring us. P.S.: It's almost impossible to beat the childish yeti with 18! health points with just two characters, Lois and Mort. Unless you're a pro in playing this game. -_- |

Unless you're a pro in playing this game. -_- I did the math this morning it is impossible. You have 24 hours to defeat him, Lois/Mort only do 1-2 damage. Assuming you attack on a perfect schedule with no speed ups (6 times throughout the day), you do can a total 24 damage assuming you hit the 2 points of damage for all 6 attacks. The low end would be 12. So the range is 12-24 and you need to do 18. Now subtract the likely scenario: sleep. You will miss at least once assuming you get 5-7 hours of sleep. That drops the high end to 20 and the low end to 10. So 20 damage, and you need 18 to defeat it... that's a long shot to be sure. I think that's why he gets a new hat in the next update, as the next costume or character will probably be able to help defeat the Yeti. |

I remember when I first started playing. I unlocked Milhouse and he didn't make a single sound. That had disappointed me a lot off the bat - an iconic character and yet didn't make a single peep. That's where Family Guy is leaps and bounds over TSTO. I think there's only 1 character that doesn't talk (Human Rupert), but everyone else has great lines. TSTO needs to put some money back into the game and at the least get the main characters some voice. While characters like Scorpio can still be soundless, I'd expect more frequent characters (Milhouse, Fat Tony, Rod Flanders, etc) to have some lines. the exact same thoughts happened with me Carter, as soon as unvoiced characters appeared, i lost interest. EA started to see the Dollar signs with premium currency and let the game falter, with too many unvoiced characters, that was it, especially after they released Number One WITH NO VOICE!!! I mean, c'mon, seriously? It's Number One, a character with lots of really funny lines in the Stonecutters episode, and they release him with no voice. I was discusted at that. At least FGQFS (TinyCo) is going all out with voices, they have so many celebrity voices and cool movie characters it's just miles ahead of TSTO. OK, FGQFS has Human Rupert unvoiced, but i don't have him, and no doubt they will voice him in the future. TSTO will never invest the kind of money that FGQFS has invested in getting celebs to come in and lend their voices to the game. As I said, I wasn't expecting Number One to be voiced, that's a celeb character voice. It'd be nice if their celebs were voiced, but the Simpsons has had tons of guest stars and keep adding to it each year. I think TSTO has significantly less added premium content. Family Guy is full of item/currency generating buildings, where TSTO mostly gets premium characters with/without buildings and every so often premium decor. |

Storyline for Mort/Lois is all set for the update tomorrow. Still have John's 24 hour to do, but won't be starting that until I have Jesus most likely. Unless I get some help another character or 2.

I'd probably be at the 18K mark cookie wise had i not bought some of the event items (especially buildings - i like new buildings to make my town feel bigger), but, i'll probably buy the gingerbread hut to get 50 cookies every 4hrs after i've got Jesus, just to top up the cookies again. All depends on what gets released this week, i have 496 clams, i expect i'm going to have to buy plenty more if what i've read is true about * Spoiler Alert! * Gene Simmons being in the game thie week |
