I am to the point where I only need one more piece of red candy but it hasn't dropped a piece since the Ghostbusters event started two days ago. Now Pink Brian ends in less than a day and I am going to get screwed. I have 10 blue pieces, 8 purple and 3 red. Why won't it drop anymore??

You may be a freemium player, but if you had a few clams lying around (15 I think?), I seem to remember that you are able to buy the candies in the ingame store - I know I saw them there before I had completed Pink Brian anyway, maybe they've gotten rid of them with the new event, but I hope not.

This is the first I've heard of them not dropping for people though, I don't have any advice for you but to contact TinyCo asap.

Thanks, I tried the store, at this I would definitely buy the last one.  I have sent a few emails to TinyCo and they have never responded.  I guess I am going to get screwed.

contacting them in game is much faster and you do get responses there. As for the candy did you miss any days because they did have a pattern I'll use the last week as an example.

It was supposed to show up yesterday, but it didn't. Switch to decaf, mate.  I understand your angst but try to show some restraint.  I have over 10 of the other candies, but according to the pattern the elusive red candy should drop today.  Rearrange your town so that there is only a little strip of road, makes it super easy to find the things.

Click the button at the bottom with the squares in it, then help and support, then ask a new question. They can respond quickly but usualy not on the weekend.

The same thing is happening to me. I haven't seen a candy since a few days, and I am missing only one red one. I have searched my town over and over, and removed almost all roads. Nothing ! I want to purchase the bucket, but it disappeared from the store.... I want that pink suit ! I asked the question to them ingame, hope they will answer me.

Yes, the the info page says this challenge ended October 4th which was yesterday, and yet the timer is ending today.  If I had known I couldn't purchase the candy today, I would put the clams down on that piece of candy two days ago.

I just wan't to turn Brian pink, for not putting any airholes in my box.  15 clams is worth the revenge, but this game chooses to be a micro-penis sometimes.

Sad to hear that its still not resolved for you lot, I hope the candy appears before the end of the night. The Pink Brian introduction has been a complete and total disaster on TinyCo's part in my eyes, they really really really messed up on this one.

I think it was 4-5 days ago that I saw the candies for sale in the shop - I assume since they aren't there any more, and since none of you have seen candies though, that the event did end when they said that it would (4th @3pm PDT? - which would be 23hours ago?). They messed up the Sexy Stewie release too - and let the ingame timer spill over by around 26hours, fooling massive amounts of us into thinking that we still had a chance at either getting him (I already had), or earning the bonus free decoration for having unlocked him within 3 days (I had also), but once contacted about it, they said that the event ended when they said that it would, and that an "error" tricked people into believing that they still had a chance at the content, though they didn't.
Its become wildly apparent recently that they really don't run the tightest of ships.

Yeah, my in game timer says that I have almost an hour left but I haven't seen any candy dropped in a couple of days and there isn't jack crap in the store.  I would have gladly spent 15 clams for one piece of candy.  I'm with James Woods and feeling like a got the fucking shaft.
