I already have Rupert, but how many clams does he cost normally? I am just curious.

Because of the name of the quest, i think there's a possibility it can help us get Stewie faster.

Will Rupert be available by other means soon. TinyCo really needs to stop doing these short events where you need to play all day or spend massive clams to get these things. I bought the Sandbox but that didn't help at all, and the "last day" was just lawl.

I think that the title "Stewie wants to catch up" refers to Rupert's task of talking on the phone not that it'll speed up getting Stewie.

I hope so.  If this comic con event is going to require the same as the full moon event, not sure how long I can hold on for.  I was hoping that the next event would have been like Halloween or something.  Soon I will start just playing when I want and not when the developers want.  Requirements to play hourly daily or buying $50 of clams should not be the initial requirements for an event.

It's 47 days long so you have plenty of time to get all the prizes unless you want to rush them with clams.  It's possible to get most, if not all the prizes, without buying the premium stuff unless you're a completist and want the premium buildings.  I spent less than 100 clams during the Moon event and got all the prizes (I did not buy the premium stalls and buildings though; I only bought a small shrine and a couple of party palm trees).

This event seems to be more organized than the Moon event and the nerds have been spawning regularly.  We also have cooler prizes, skins and celebrity characters this event.  TinyCo seems to have learned a lot from their mistake from the Moon event.

It certainly seems that way - so far it is cooler, but we shall see after a few weeks go by.

I missed out on getting him during the event.  By the time I realized they had extended it, I didn't have enough to even open one box yesterday.  So yeah, sucks to be me on this one.  I looked and he's showing up as a character now in FaceSpace.  Clicking on the greyed out icon gave me a message that I needed the Bare Bear Tanning Salon or something similarly named.  I'm guessing it's not available since I didn't see it in the store.
