im 2 hours away from my last box also, I really hope I get Rupert, ( but don't know why I cannot stop thinking about the big bubbly fountain)
if I get that instead of Rupert I'll jump of my window! Lol

Stewie needs lots of stuff, and I imagine Lois, Herbert, Bruce, Mort, Chris and Peter will be needed to generate new items.  Which is why if it's district 8, perhaps give tasks to district 7 or 6 characters?  How about the premiums?  I don't get why it's always the early characters for everything.  Events it is understandable so everyone has them, but why doesn't Seamus generate anything?  Why didn't Connie, or Tricia?  Why was Dr. Hartman and Meg so limited on what to generate?

Jewels I understand have been around for a long time - which is fine.  But the new items could have focused on the newer characters.  Especially since they are required to start the district in the first place.  Hopefully district 9 will follow this.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Hope you get him. I don't understand their rationale for the premium char. usage either. I switched to premium a short while ago so that I could get all the characters in the hopes that they would become more useful like in the king butt event. I hope they'll be of some use in the comicon event but at the start of it rather than in the middle. And they absolutely need to utilize most every character to some degree with the exception of ones like king butt maybe.

-TOMORROW (7/23) at some point in the early afternoon PDT, TinyCo WILL add another (new) toy for collecting.

Ahh I see this after what felt like an hour straight of trying to get Rupert and finally getting him. Although I am happy for those people who didn't get the chance to get him and can now Also shows signs that TinyCo might be more generous with future events.

Yes! Tap on the toy box, it says they are extending one more day, but the toy won show at 10:00 pm. PDT, it's going to take a little longer.

My last box was the Pawtuket truk.

Yeah baby! Final try (before seeing the extension) and I got Rupert! 1 out of 8 ain't bad and now I can use the extra day to snag some items that cost clams which a freemium player like myself wouldn't otherwise have access to. Plus i can get back to those darned 2 sugars I need for Carter! Good night all around here.

I'm at school during the day (last day until holidays) so if it starts then I will start late. I'll get back around 1pm so I'm going to try for 2 boxes, unless it starts after that, then I'll try for 3.

I just opened a box and got the spotlights. My prizes add up to 280 clams now.

Glad to hear there is an extension going into tomorrow. I have to speed up the last little bit of the tasks to make it to 24 tonight because I forgot about the game and let it go 15 minutes past 5.

Tomorrow I hope to have better times and Rupert will be mine!

I've gotten the glitch to only work 3-4 times then it sticks. On my first attempt was spotlights, billboard, and got stuck with lobster shanty (already had originally purchased). Then the second box I saw the spotlights billboard, gold digger island and getting stuck with dansu dansu. Debating to see if it's worth hitting the third box tonight to possibly force it tomorrow.

I just got Rupert with the first box after the extension. Lucky!!!

Pretty upset about this. I saw the message saying there'd be a new toy today and there's not. So I spent 32 clams to get the 3rd box last night figuring with 3 boxes today I would have Rupert. Now I spent the clams when I could have just woken up and gotten the final 4 toys for that box this morning.

I definitely messaged Tinyco about this poor execution and lies of a new toy today.
