Also we have the new event starting Thursday (IOS). So maybe I'll get Stewie in October. I am not sure I like this month long event every other month thing. Lol. I feel the same. I've simply accepted the fact that I will get Stewie when I get him. And to think that I thought a month was too long to wait for a character lol. On the plus side I did just get Rupert so that eases the sting a bit. Though not by much. |

I only got 2 prizes on the first day but I've opened them all since and I've got one box left for today but I still don't have Rupert. The glitch doesn't work for me so I just gotta hope that the odds are with me when I open my last one in 4 hours.

I have 1 box pending, but I don't have solid 4G network at work (have to use Wi-Fi) so waiting until I leave the building to give it a shot. I'll get a second one later today. Stewie needs lots of stuff, and I imagine Lois, Herbert, Bruce, Mort, Chris and Peter will be needed to generate new items. Which is why if it's district 8, perhaps give tasks to district 7 or 6 characters? How about the premiums? I don't get why it's always the early characters for everything. Events it is understandable so everyone has them, but why doesn't Seamus generate anything? Why didn't Connie, or Tricia? Why was Dr. Hartman and Meg so limited on what to generate? Jewels I understand have been around for a long time - which is fine. But the new items could have focused on the newer characters. Especially since they are required to start the district in the first place. Hopefully district 9 will follow this. |

No Rupert.
Unlocked 3 boxes every day since the start. No Rupert.

Me too, 5 boxes no Rupert. I had the glitch going for 3 attempts, but then it didn't work after the 4th. None of the tries had revealed Rupert obviously. It was Stewie Billboard, something else (don't remember) and I got stuck with the giant martini glass thing. So will it shut down today like mid day? Or do we have till midnight as with the prior days? I can probably get 2 more boxes today (impossible to get 3 without spending clams or sleeping). I'd love to walk away with Rupert - but I'm guessing my luck will be dying out. I've opened 7 boxes so far, all I've got we're things I've already have ( except for the Stewie flower) the tea party ends at 10:00 pm PDT so you get a chance at another box. If you can find a way to turn of your connection at the same time as opening the box, the glitch might work. I controlled wifi by using a tethered connection and turning the tethering off almost at the same time as opening the box. See my post above. Have not tried it on an iPad yet though. Thanks for the info, I haven't tried the glitch, but I'm so tempted to do it with my last box. i just opened my 8 box and got more crap that I have already bought ( this time it was Dansu Dansu) i have one chance left to get Rupert, and to be honest I'm feeling vey annoyed, it's like the premium players get punished with this event of all the things I've won the only thing I did not had was the Stewie flower (yay 5 clam premium cost) My boxes were: koi pond (already had 1) spotlights (already had 2) Gold digger island ( already had 1) Lobster shanty (already had 1) Stewie billboard (already had 1) Herbert ice cream truck Stewie flower Dansu Dansu (already had 1) So anyone else feeling the way I'm feeling? |

The glitch doesn't work for me so I just gotta hope that the odds are with me when I open my last one in 4 hours. I got the glitch to work on my phone and my iPad. Key is to have 2 devices. 1 with the game and 1 that can tether an internet connection. Make sure the device with the game can only connect to the tethered connection. (No other data or WiFi connection) When you click on the buy button, almost immediately turn off the tethering on the other device. By having 2 devices and doing these actions almost simultaneously you are in time for the glitch to work. See my step by step description on the previous page. You might get an error that you cannot purchase the box. In that case you turned the connection off too soon. There should be a very slight delay. Make sure you do it before the present is selected though. |

Does anyone know the odds of getting Rupert? I've got Rupert and the Island left to get from the boxes with 1 box left. I've managed to glitch it about 5 times now and am still getting the island.

Since today's toy was Destro I think instead of the giraffe octopus dinosaur the 4 toys should of been Trapjaw Optimus Prime Destro(today's) and a care bear and the event should of been called a land deal lol here's why I think that That's freaking hilarious!  |

Does anyone know the odds of getting Rupert? I've got Rupert and the Island left to get from the boxes with 1 box left. I've managed to glitch it about 5 times now and am still getting the island. Considering it's the top prize, probably low, but others have managed to get him early on. I can't even get the glitch to work with my iPad Air. Good luck! |

It doesn't work on my tablet either as I can't swipe for the airplane mode, but I can get away with quickly closing the app straight after I see the prize, although it doesn't always work |
