Thanks for the tip! I was too slow the first time I tried it but now I have the hang of it. I have a Galaxy S2 and I have to wait until after the prize is shown for me to put it into airplane mode otherwise I can't see what the prize is.

I did this on the 120 clam one, got 500 clams. (i feel i cheated..but its my revenge for the game stealing 120 off me before. lol)
i dont wanna cheat anymore, as i feel like its ruining the game if i have no objective!

I did this on the 120 clam one, got 500 clams. (i feel i cheated..but its my revenge for the game stealing 120 off me before. lol) i dont wanna cheat anymore, as i feel like its ruining the game if i have no objective! Well that's really rather interesting that you've manged to get it working as you need to be connected to the internet for it to open the 25 and 120 clams sarcophagus as they are both connected to the server which is why you see the little TV before it opens, so if you weren't connected it... all it would do is refuse to open and show a connection error message until you re-connected to the internet. |

As soon as the TV disappears, i turn on flight mode, if i like what comes out i turn flight mode off again. if not, i close the app via my home button.

Here is just an update about the glitch: - Garden Bushes come up very frequently - Prizes that are good come in groups. So if you get something good buy a couple more soon after - On the other hand if you get a couple bad prizes .. stop! They come in extremely big groups - 50 Clams is extremely rare I have received roughly 150,000 moon idols from this technique and 80 clams. Attachments:

well dang... tried, didn't work on my Nexus 7, or maybe I was to slow..... Oh well, guess it was a crapshoot, and I got a crappy prize.. (Open air debris field..)
Edit: I think what I did wrong was when I saw the open air debris garden I hit airplane mode, then hit the home button, then turned wifi back on and reentered the game... Should have gone into settings and force stopped the app before restarting wifi.. >.< and now I have like 400 idols and no time to get 4000 more for a box..

ok... something went screwy... I got the 5000 idol one, and claimed the 'man of danger' placed him, then bought another box, and did the airplane mode thing, next time I loaded up I lost man of danger... do you have to exit game and force stop to save it or something? EDIT: NVM.... yeap.. exit, force stop and it saves  Gotten 5k idols, and 7k idols ^_^ I may get king a$$ afterall! Edit 2: Gotten man of danger, gorilla, and anubis statue so far... ditching alot of open air debris gardens and yachts though >.< My luck.. bleh! Just glad I figured out this glitch! Edit 3: Only took what seemed like 150 times, but I got from 45k to 100k for king butt! Now to get the rest of the premium prizes, and farm some clams for the sarcophagi! |

I've gone from 2558 clams to 5588 clams doing this. Not quite half back but reasonably happy with that effort.

I tried with 12k worth of idols, and anyway I tried it the idols were always taken, or the box couldn't be opened. 1. Tried the trick as listed - open box - cut internet (wi-fi connection only) - force shutdown 2. Tried variation - cut internet - open box - box doesn't open 3. Tried variation - open box - activate airplane mode - force shutdown 4. Tried variation - open box - cut internet (3/4G only) - force shutdown All instances saw 4k in idols missing, the crap in the inventory. |
