Best idol earning tasks

Did anyone figure out which tasks are the best to use for each character(s)?

I think I only did the math for the Consuela/Peter combo, but didn't know if others were better.  I obviously know that the hour tasks are preferred, but if you must use 4 hours, 8 hours, etc which the best combinations are?

The best task is to wait a spawn of mummies. Every minute can give around 15 to 65 idols.

But if you only want character tasks : Fishing with Seamus and Giving a lap dance are among the best. It give the same hourly/rate as one hour task.

Well I did look into what you said, you actually found a better strategy. I think 8 hours are much easier than hitting 1 hour 8 times.

I did the math for Bonnie. 8 idols per hour * 8 hours = 64 idols. 8 hour task I think is actually a 100 with Joe.

Then did the same with Peter, 16 idols per hour (Mermaid) * 8 hours = 128. Combo with Seamus is 160. So in reality, those should be done 3 times a day to maximize profits.

Buzz/Peter is wash. 16 * 4 = 64, but Peter (Mermaid) would also be 16 * 4 + 64 = 128 for 4 hours. So you lose 28 idols there.

I think since Joe and Seamas are not earning idols individually, is what makes those tasks worth more than the 1 hours. Thanks for the tip, now to spam those 3 times a day (much easier to do especially having to click on the shrine every 8 hours).

I'm using Mermaid Peter & Seamus for the 8 hour fishing task 160 butts, Chris & Quagmire for the 10 hour fighting task  180 butts, Bonnie & Joe for the 8 hour lap dance task 80 butts, the horse on his 3 hour task 36 butts (except over night), Consuela on her 2 hour task 24 butts (except over night) and everyone else on 1 hours tasks 16 butts(except over night).

I wanted to look into that one (Chris/Quagmire).  That one doesn't seem worth it at a glance since both are earners.  When I did the math with Peter & Buzz, that one fell short 28 idols.  So I'd imagine that Chris+Brian 1 hour + Quagmire 1 hour * 10 hours would yield a higher payout than that 10 hour task.

Goth Chris 1 hour is 16 idols (premium), Chris (normal) + Brian is 20.  Then Quagmire would be 8.  So 28 * 10 = 280; at a guess I think the 10 hour task pays out 200.

I ended up finding them and the payout for Chris & Quagmire is 180 butts. I don't think I compared them to their 1 hour tasks, just their longer ones so it's possible that keeping them on 1 hour tasks has a better payout. Of course if I do that; then, I'll miss all the excitement when everything lines up with Chris & Quagmire fighting in between Seamus & mermaid Peter fishing and Bonnie & Joe doing a lap dance. It really gets interesting when Tricia is right there having her nervous breakdown and S&M Lois is whipping them all.

I've been using MP+Seamus, Joe+Bonnie, and Chris+Brian. The rest at their 1 hour or lowest next lowest. But when I'm gonna be away for a while I do go with Chris+Quagmire

Anyway, now the new materials for Cleveland's costume make all this meaningless.
On the other hand, the mummies spawns give so many idols now. They can give +40 and even a clam (rare but it happen)

I made a ridiculous spreadsheet around day 1 or 2 and decided that Goth Chris / Quagmire, Bonnie / Cop Joe, Mermaid Peter / Seamus, and S&M Lois (any duration -- usually just go with 8 hr to have everyone on a similar schedule) were the best deals.

I haven't really bothered with short tasks because the payout from the premium shrines worked out to be so much more than what I could earn from grinding away with tasks. Thus, from a time perspective, this event has been pretty painless for me.

IMO I think that its different for everone and that the best tasks are the ones that fits your schedule

I understand that, but I'm saying if someone didn't have to sleep, work, or had any family to see or anything else in the world to do, - what would be the best bang for your buck.  It's different than TSTO since we never earn the currency off of various tasks.  TSTO is straight up playing every 4 hours for events, whether it's tapping snakes, ghosts, robed men, whatever - seems to be a solid 4 hours to suffice for nearly all events (with every 1-2 hours if you have the time).  

Family Guy differs since there's dozens of paths to get to 100k in idols, I am simply looking for the best way possible.  I had thought Peter's hourly was best with Mermaid - however in this discussion I realized that was wrong - his 8 hour is actually much better.  Bonnie's is nearly even, but let's face it, 8 hours is 100 times easier to set than 1 hour 8 times right on schedule.  Her 8 hour does pay a tad higher too.

So my point of the thread was to try to iron out the freemium (or mostly) way to achieve all the prizes - since I'm done with clams for the near future.  I do have the large shrine on my side, but I figured with a discussion we can iron out the best pay outs.

What? 40? I only get 2,5,10 and rarely 20?
