Spawn problems since update

I did the update before I went to bed last night and this morning I only had 12 make mummies and 1 female mummy in my town. It had been more then 8 hours since I last played. The problem has been continuing today. When I'm actively playing the game they spawn at a rate of 2 or 3 a minute but when I'm away for an hour or so I come back to only 4 or 5 mummies. Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me? Or is this how it's supposed to be since the update? I contacted tiny co but haven't heard back from them yet.

I noticed the same thing. They don't seem to be spawning as frequently and they require multiple taps to kill.

I've found since the iOS update that the mummies don't accumulate but that 2 males spawn every minute while I'm in my town. The female seems to spawn every 15 minutes  or so. Also I've found that you can't tap them until 10 seconds or so after they spawn.

Well at least I know I'm not alone. I guess I'll just try and play with the game open as much as possible til the get it fixed. Hopefully they get this sorted out soon as I'm missing out on a lot of idols and I was already a little behind the way it was.

Same here. I wish I had gone into the game this morning before I updated it!!! (Especially after falling asleep last night with everyone on hour tasks!!! UGH!!!)

One way I have slowly been regaining bums is by not closing the game or turning off my phone.
It stays on for a few more mins before shutting itself off therefore I gain a few more mummies during that time so they're there when I go back in.

A few 40 bum girl mummies later & I feel better
