I've noticed with any of the unofficial beta tests that if you tap more than one coin sometimes the second (or third, fourth and so on) won't add to the total of $ in your stash....example, once I unlocked Mort, the reward for the unlock is $150. I tap the first coin worth 50 and it adds to my total, the subsequent TWO remaining coins when tapped add NOTHING to the total ...ita like that for every coin almost...XP seems to be the only thing you can tap a lot at one time and have it all be accounted for......also...if you want a wicked awesome rewarding money GRIND, don't unlock quagmire ...keep repeating the fat leap frog and bake sale tasks for 6 seconds a piece...I started another account on my tablet and within the first 2 hours of consecutive game play I was at over 10k in cash and Chris and peter are both Lvl 9. It's frantic coin collecting fun....good tip for starting off anew once the world release launches....Giggity Giggity.

I never notice these things. I just don't pay enough attention. Good tip! I f I have to start again, I'll try it!
EDIT: OK, I have paid attention: if there are several coins hanging around (f.i. after tapping several buildings), it appears that the total amount of money of all the coins is immediately added to the total when you click on the first coin. So you are not missing out.

I did notice that as well. However, sometimes I still notice coin amounts not adding to the total at all. Especially when collecting coins from office buildings...the more coins you flood the map with, the more of a chance that some of that amount will go unaccounted for... Example, if you have 10 buildings awarding you 3 coins every 30 min that's 30 coins, now if you tap them all at once ( and I've tested multiple times) and manual collect you most likely won't get all 30 ...most times I'm lucky to get half of them...the only way I've found to collect 100% of your earnings is to tap as many as you can, and while the coins lay uncollected you assign a character to a task. When you look at your coin total after the assignment of a task, ALL coin total is present and accounted for.
