Spawn Rate for Mummies

familyguytips had posted on familyguytips.com the spawn rate for the mummies for those that hadn't seen it here's what was posted

Male Mummies
Spawn Rate: 2 every 30 minutes
Maximum: 24 (every 6 hours you will have the max amount of male mummies, then they will stop respawning)
Earnings: 1 or 2 Moon Idols (with a chance of a Clam)

Female Mummies
Spawn Rate: 2 every 4 hours
Maximum: 24 (every 48 hours you will have the max amount of female mummies, then they will stop respawning)
Earnings: 5, 10, or 20 Moon Idols (with a chance of a Clam)


Course more have probably been spawning since the update but here you go

This is not my experience. More frequent spawns and more idols from males as well. I'm sure I got a 20 but certainly get 10 and 5

It seem to be 2 or 3 mummies every minute now.

I've gotten 40 bums a few times now from the girl mummies!

Since the update it's now 2 males or 2 males and 1 female every minute.
The males drop 2 or 5 moon idols
The female drop 10 or 20 moon idols. Rarely they'll drop 40.

I asked TinyCo about this and they responded that the update did change the spawn rate. They said that they "adjusted the mummy spawn rate in the last update so that it fits better with the pace of the event." I wrote back asking for confirmation that if all else is equal and the variable is the spawn rate will I be able to get all the event prizes without spending clams? Then this morning I followed up, letting them know that the mummies are not accumulating over night. I only got 3 this morning when I logged in and not the maximum 24. I'm still waiting for a response.

Well I feel a bit better knowing I wasn't the only one who got rooked on mummies this morning.
I only had three as well.

I contacted them yesterday about this issue. I haven't heard back from them yet. I think I had more then three this morning but I'd say less then a dozen. Far less then I was getting. Sadly I've been spending all my free time with the game open just waiting to get them as they come out of the pyramid every minute. I've been earning about 500 an hour.

Important message for OS user : Don't install the last update... yet.
The mummies spawn rate have dramatically decreases and there's nothing new.

Before the update, i leave my game open for 10 minutes and got a truckload of mummies.
Now, one hour of mummies don't even give what i got in 10 minutes.

Before, it was easy to get 7k-10k butts a day , just leaving the game open and crushing mummies from time to time.

My game auto updated (IOS) and I'm glad it did. Finally get a parade of mummies when I log into the game hourly.

I tried the leaving the game open strategy, but I never got more than 3k a day. With having to visit friends (both games), assign tasks (hourly) for FG - my battery barely lasts 14 hours. I got many more with the current update.

Oh FFS, they've messed with it again and made it worse.
1st it was every minute, that suited free players who banged the game but didn't suit people who played less frequently as they wouldn't accumulate.
Then the went to every 5 minutes and stacked up over time. This was a fair middle ground.
Now that King Butt has arrived, I'm seeing 3 mummies every 15 minutes. That's poor.

Now, i barely got a hard 3k a day instead of an easy 10k.
The mummies parade don't even worth the value of 10 minutes before the patch.
