I suddenly got a quest to open the pyramid - it instantly completed. I then got a quest to tap 20 mummies, again that instantly completed. Then I got a quest for Peter to do a 12 hour task. I've been tapping mummies for over a day now, and unlocked Cleveland (and the pyramid) Saturday night.

Did that not happen for you a couple of days back when the timer ran down?? Did not, the counter completed, the sand was removed from the pyramid and mummies came crawling out. I didn't know if I needed a character to do it (like the clowns), but I tapped on them and figured it out. Nothing else happened when Cleveland was unlocked - just his quest line. |

I think I missed one of the journals since Cleveland and the pyramid came the same day/time.

Taking forever to get Cleveland leveled up. His next task requires level five, and he's just in the middle of level three now.

Awesome I got a glitched game... When I completed the bathtub quest (level 3), or I should say when it was ready to be completed, Quagmire triggered that Old Lady quest I saw in a different thread. But I didn't get a new Cleveland quest. So right now I'm trying to level him up now. Wish he had a 1 hour task. |

Just because I'm enjoying myself - I logged in and got yet another quest.
Last Night, at the Museum pt 8 just auto-completed, and part 9 just unlocked. I guess Tinyco likes when you throw money at them! I bought 600 clams today to get those 4000 idols and seems to have some sort of snowball effect on my game. I guess I'm finally starting to catch up!
The active volcano unlocked with this stuff too.

Family guy tips reported an update at the time of the original post. Said the update enabled questlines that had stopped.
