Hoping for land

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm quickly running out of places to put the new things from this event.  Don't get me wrong; I'm really enjoying it but they are giving us enough stuff to fill a new district of the town.  I hope they open up the land around the pyramid for us.

I think eventually but from what we know so far that district will lock when event ends. District 8 will bring some but I do hope we eventually get non district land

Never been one to jump on a 'we need more land' bandwagon before....but we do!

TinyCo mentioned during there Q&A that the land where the pyramid is will be locked back up after the events ends. They also said that their only likely to release more land with each new district.

This is the first time I've ever said anything about more land (in any game) but I'm already putting things in storage and we're not even halfway there.

I've still got some open land in Asiantown. I'll likely stick most of the decorations from this event into storage, so I'm just cramming them where I can for now. But I'll have a shortage of land pretty soon.

I really like the subject matter of this game so far, but it suffers from a lack of features common to this type of game. Characters getting hidden behind buildings is driving me crazy. The big fault (for lack of a better term) I see so far is that the special items that cost clams don't benefit your game play - they're just decorations. I don't mind spending money on good games, but spending money for clams is kind of useless to me because they don't benefit my game play in some way. The social thing also detracts - I know tinyco has stated they're working on a method other than FB or G+, but at this point not having friends and no benefits from clams are quickly driving me to lose interest.

Why? What's the rush? I mean with this type of game you're meant to check back in every so often... not play for hours and hours.

I have the majority of the buildings, and I still have plenty of space left at the time being. I missed the limited restaurant, and a lot of the limited circus stuff, but seem to be fine. I haven't gone through decorating my town yet, but have been doing lots of redesign work thanks to this event district.

I also need land for the event items. I'm going to have to get rid of my small offices to accommodate these; meaning I'll be down on much needed income. After I have re-arranged, I'm not going to have any space at all. I could get rid of my decorations and squash everything senselessly together, but what would be the point in that?? I read somewhere about Tiny's stance that they're only going to release land with each district and thats their call but, imho, the districts are only just big enough to constructively place the buildings that come with them... I believe, ultimately, that this will have a big impact on their bottom line... After all, what is the point of buying any of the premium buildings if there's nowhere to put them?? Look at the size of Buzz Killingtons house for example!!!
