Around the time I got adventure Peter, my idols went down a load
I haven't spent idols on anything as I was saving for Cleveland.
So any ideas where they have gone?
I should have about 2700 but only have 1500. I now have 2 options.
Have everyone on their 1 hour task for the next 40 hours non stop or do all 1 hours except Peter and do the surfing bird continuously for the next 18 hours.

You've spent them as Adventure Peter costs 1250 idols and when you get Cleveland you'll have to spend 3000 idols to get him.  |

Yes, one of Adventure Peter's requirements was like 1250 idols. So it was supposed to subtract them. Just like when you have the task for Cleveland, it will reduce it by 3000.
It's only the redeemable amount. There is still the ongoing total which goes towards prizes. You didn't lose 1250 towards that progress, only that amount for spending on decorations. Your current total is what shows on screen. When you click the pyramid, it shows how many you have collected total.
Don't worry, I'm in the same boat as you. I got Adventure Peter a few days ago, and I'm only at 1500 idols towards Cleveland. Yet I have nearly all of his items acquired already.

What a rip off! If it's not bad enough you have to collect other things.
Level 33, I have all the items done for Cleveland, except for the idols. 1272 to go.

It's not a rip off... you've still got 26 days or so to get more idols which should be more than enough time to make it back up and it's no different to the other items you need to collect for the outfit, if anything it's the easiest. |

If you have all the items, get mermaid Peter fishing with Seamus, goth Chris raging agaist Quagmire and Bonnie and Joe on the lapdance tasks.....you will soon get the money
