Trick for buying new stuff with coins instead of idols

It's a bug i use without knowing it.
New stuff appears in your building and deco menu before you update your game... AND THEY COST COINS.
But after you update your game, they COST IDOLS.

I have an habit to buy anything new right away. I got Desert oasis, Lotus pond, lava fence, Evil monkey statue and plenty of stuff with only coins because i didn't update the game. I tough it was the normal price... So, imagine my surprise after  the update. I just saved around 55 000 idols right at the start.

Damn... wish I knew they were available for coins, I have over 600k to spend, getting like tapped out

Why, is there a big jump in prices for it Cleveland??

It's like 10,000+ for each I believe

Clearing the block for one building
Two character buildings
One building to repair
Two non characters building
3+ land plots not including the one to clear the block
Decorations that may or may not be story based

I didn't mention the most funny part in my post, because it sound really far fetched.... but true.
Many of the items didn't even cost coins.... They got the mention «FREE».
I guess because i didn't make the update, the software can't show a currency it didn't have. So, FREE by default.
