Stuck On Level 27 For A Week.

G'morning and Happy Memorial Day.

I reached level 27 last week and nothing has happened.  There are no more quests and the game has become agonizingly boring.  Stewie, Carter, Mayor West, and Tom are still locked in the menu but I have cleared all the debris and there is nothing, just nothing.

Help please.

Those 4 characters are not out yet. They will be coming soon. Right now just keep sending the rest of your characters on tasks to make you money. I do 8 hour tasks 3 times a day.

I'm stuck trying to get eyeballs for anime peter so I can get Tricia.

Yeppers. That's kinda the downside to being efficient at these games this soon after its release...you run out of things to do!.. aside from stocking up on coins, and redesigning your town. We play the waiting game. However, the new content should not take much longer....just do what I did, try to earn enough coins to buy the two aspiration statues..

As @renamedsrt/10 said, it's a case of tappin' for cash and clams from neighbours till they release the next content.  If you played TSTO then I'm sure you're used to the content thing as well . Keep it giggity

You can also work on leveling up your characters to max level

Right on and thanks, I thought it might have been that but I just wanted to make sure that I didn't miss something along the way.
