I suppose because it could have a negative effect on the community in a sense... it would be drawing attention to an issue or problem that some people may not feel ok with or might not want to get involved/voice their feelings on the matter. So having an award could single a person out saying they either support, don't support or wanted to stay neutral which in turn could result in someone getting grief or abuse for not supporting it or showing support on said issue.

I thought it would be a good idea to delete the post in response to your reply as I don't want to start anything I didn't realise it would just leave your answer though Yeah it does that for some strange reason. If you want the thread deleted just send Evil Stewie a message and I'm sure he'll do it for you.  It was a good idea in theory, but as I said it could be one of those things has the possibility to turn bad and separate the community really quickly. |
