I don't feel any represent the ordinary man on the street. I am sick to the back teeth of watching these 'leaders' act like school children in PMQ's week in week out.

I'm not even paying attention anymore. Really can't be bothered to hear them talk about nothing, only their own personal goals and egos in between the lines. I have been involved with work-related projects where I work in naturally preserved landscapes with guys and girls who are school drop-outs, foreigners or people seeking asylum, drug-dealers or addicts, young unplanned parents who grew up in the ghettos of Holland. Then the entire national media-political circus starts writing and making news items about it... they misinterpret everything and reveal how little knowledge and understanding they actually have about what really going on with the people they talk about, or what the work they are doing actually entails. And the ordinary man on the street who reads these articles comment the most idiotic things ever conceived. Because I worked closely with these people mentioned above I also know how they are treated by the government and how they try to survive and take care of their family here in Holland and sometimes even of other family back in their home country. And they get in debt because they can't pay the obligatory, monthly healthcare packages for every single member of their family... |
