Good choice Carter, another good South American team!  I know next to nothing about Soccer (sorry it's called that here in the USA), but see that some of the teams I've heard of are taken, decided to pick this one. Uruguay are a great team anyway have a few world class add players including Suarez, he got voted England's player of the year this year.. Although he just had knee surgery so he's gonna have to get fit fast! |

 Not fair - Internet was down for few hours... would have beaten them to it otherwise... Not much left then?? Can I have 2 choices seeing as there's only crappy no-hopers left?? lol... No?? Ok, will opt for Belgium then. Fancy them to get quite far as outsiders tbh  And if thats not possible, I'll go with France, they got some quality players who're more experienced than most. Failing either of those, will go with England. (Somebody's got too and Hodgson worked miracles with Switzerland etc, etc.). If I've been beaten to ALL these 3, then I give up!! (At which point I'll storm off home sulking, whilst taking my ball with me!!) Still quite a few good teams left the time that I think has an excellent chance of winning this year still hasn't even been mentioned lol.. and ok Belgium it is!  Belgium have a great chance as well, they have England's young player of the year in their team, plus a few other big names.. Plus, I don't think they'll have much trouble getting through the group stages Ermmm.... I mentioned/chose Belgium in the post you quoted quagmire |

I meant in comparison to the teams already chosen, most of the teams left don't have a cat in Hells chance!! I really wanted Germany, think they'll win it tbh, I've called the right winners in the last 4 WC's now before the tournament started... wonder if I can make it 5?? To be fair though, Brazil mustn't be disregarded. They have Home advantage and some great young players... Anyone else willing to put their head on the block and guess the winner  |

I must misread your post... my bad Imho, I dont think Hollandd will get very far this tournament... maybe in a few years with some of the young talent/prospects they have Maybe, but they still have a few excellent players that they had in 2010, Van Persie, Robben, Van Der Vaart, Sneijder, and I hear they have a few young stars this year that could shine same with Belgium though.. Eden Hazard is only in his early 20's and he's one of the best players in England.. and they have the likes of Lukaku, Benteke, Fellaini.. |
