Oh hell yes. I'm so excited about the races tonight, that I thought I would share with everyone else....it's been a looooong winter.
This for me marks it as officially over. Opening night at the drag race track. Should be a huge turnout. I'm runnin my Z tonight. Wish me luck ...
AHHHHHHHHHHH I'm soooooo excited.

Holy crap it's busy here tonight..and its not even prime time.
That usually doesn't start till after dusk..
there is however a pair of white trans AM's (mid 2000's) that are running in tandem and pulling consistent mid 8sec passes....holy crap..

So that was an absolutely amazing night..the turn out was ridiculous..
It was so busy I only got two runs in. The first pass was a 14.45sec @ 88mph and the second was 14.02sec @ 91 mph. ALMOST a 13sec pass. We lost our minds...had I have been able to make another pass I bet I would have hit the 13's ..problem is, there were so many ppl pinned up to make passes that by the time you ran a pass you were 50+ minutes for your next run...by that time the car isn't running hot, tyour adrenaline has gone way down thus lowering your reaction time....next weekend though is my 13 second weekend...I never in a million years would have thought a stock (minus the wicked tires I have) LD9 powered z24 would hit that close to a 13 second pass. On another note. There was an amazing mint 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo chop top runnin high 10's in AWD mode....AWD mode pulling 10's? Wtf?!? Now I have seen it all.

The best time..I watched some of the top NDRA drivers at the top of their game last night race for fun...everyone there was just awesome..the overall mood at the track was wicked..friendly people everywhere you turned..we even met a group of people that let us use their tools to pull my air box apart and take my seats out...so we chilled with them all night...they even had a camper trailer and a fridge full of beer...seriously a fantastic night...
