I started buying standard office's but was wondering what building you all think is the best to farm?

For me the 4 hr gives the best payout for convienience

I keep a mix of the 2, 4, and 6-hr buildings to make the farm look less offensive, but I'm also partial to the typical offices ($30 / 4h). The payout is decent and you don't have to keep checking in.
If you set your characters on short tasks often, then the standard office ($20 / 2h) is a good choice. I will point out, though, that it generates a disproportionate amount of XP (15 / 2h) compared to the other offices (20 / 4h; 25 / 6h). I ended up putting a bunch in storage because I was getting embarrassed by how quickly they were leveling me up compared to my neighbors. Thankfully, it capped at 40.

Farming looks ugly and doesnt make that big a difference to the money take up imo, so I've not bothered in Family Guy. The limiting factor is build speed, and given I'm going freemium on this game, I really don't want to waste 25 clams on another builder. Besides, the single story worker house looks great, whereas the double and triple versions just look plain ugly!

Bringing back an old thread, instead of starting new..
What is the building of choice for "office farming"? I've got a few of the Average Office going on.. I like the 6 hour collection time. I have about 200 of them now... Probably covers 2/3 of my land. I have about $3.5mil in game cash at the moment.

I have several of each type, as new ones came I rotated through them @3-8 ea. Now I'm converting them for the new warehouses because they take up less room.

Ahh yes, I see the same XP and $ as the Average Office but smaller footprint. Gonna start replacing some of mine too! Good idea, thanks!
I just counted and I actually have 434 of the Average Office... And at a six-hour build for the Abandoned Warehouse, this is going to take a while.

i'm an office farmer. i have a ton of each. just don't have the land to put them all on along with all the other buildings. currently at just shy of $1.6 million.

I started a new farm with the abandoned warehouses too. They gradually replace my normal farm.
The warehouse cost more but it's a good investment in the long run.
Now, my choices are : Taking less space or get more coins?

Now, my choices are : Taking less space or get more coins? Definitely worth substituting all of your offices with warehouses if the look isn't horrible. Less space = more warehouses = more coins. Right now, I'm experimenting with ways to hide rows of warehouses behind offices and other buildings. |
