Today I gathered up the courage and wrote a super long message to support asking about a refund. Of course it was met with a "contact apple". So I screen capped my message, wrote up a summary for Apple and also indicated I could provide screens. I outlined what I felt were the major 3 points. I was deceived, tricked and 'forced' into the purchases and outlined my reasoning. From the repeative "spend money to get xx resources" to "buy this to help unlock x" to post-purchase indicating within 1 week to 4 weeks the purchased items werre made null (event ending/currency disappearing to characters having 0 use in future content updates). So pending the result of the request I can post the screens here. If granted the refund, it is going into some music purchases or videos or something. I have enough donuts for Halloween in TSTO. As I previously said, I'll be sticking around the forum - but if the refund is granted (in full) then this game wil be uninstalled officially from my phone and iPad. If it's partial, I may stick around in the game, but just remove from the phone at the least. If it's nothing, I would probably just exit the game out of frustration with myself with the money spent.

It isn't a good idea to have all those toons in your town to turned to wolves. It only benefits TinyCo and further proves what a ripoff this Halloween event really is. I will explain below. I'm still trying to unlock Death, specifically I need 3 more scythes to do so which are extra rare drops from Bonnie(twirk it) quest, and Quagmire quest. These 2 characters quests are 4 hours long for a extra rare chance to drop a scythe. They also both get changed into wolves. Now here's the problem..... The game changes characters into wolves even after you have sent them on a quest!!!!!! So I had Bonnie on the stripper pole quest log back in and she is gone because she is 1 of the 10 wolves now running around in my game. The real kicker is you don't know which wolf is her. I know this because after turning 8 of the 10 wolves in my game back I found Bonnie. Once turned back she ran straight back to the stripper pole in my town and 2 coins and the exp bubble pop out. So Bonnie and Quagmires 4 hour quest for an extra rare drop could take hours and hours to complete 1 time if you are unlucky on which wolf you pick next. Characters not involved in other quest item drops should have been used for werewolves. Aaronrtd - Just read your above post. Toon name at top of wolf bubble. That better, but quest toons shouldn't have been used for this. Getting Scythes for Death unlock now just became extra extra rare because now cannonballs are needed. |

Just unlocked Death and now I can just take it easy as there's nothing else this event interests me.  Too many reels needed for useless decos. |

I just need 2 more, and 36 more flocks of bats for the challenge. Getting garlic is hard pressed (oh bad pun), 2 buildings every 12 hrs and 2 characters that can be changed into wolves and you have to wait till it rotates out or you change it yourself. The most flocks at got once 9, my town looks like the scene in the birds there everywhere. |

I'm experimenting with using Abandoned Warehouses as a maze to guide the bats. Limited success so far... I've hit 10 a few times, 12 once.

What I did was use 6 squares of road put together, nothing more. Vampires stay on the road. When I have 4 close to each other I tap them and bomb real quick. Usually get 11 or 12. Werewolves tend to get in the way with just that little bit of road but I just wait until there's an opening. |

Just hit 12 flocks 140/150 left, and Jesus gave me 2 I repeat 2 whole clams. Now I can go buy......nothing really not even a down payment.

Anybody else having issues clearing bats? My last 4 garlic bombs were totally wasted as I got nothing for clearing the bats.

Death is still a ways away. Need 5 more syches (damn extra rares + plus putting it on water balloon characters), Peter still needs to do his task 3 times, need 2 drops (4 items) from the Slasher Cat Cave, and still need 4 Sandals. Plus haven't placed the pumpkin tower for the last item (saving up for Slasher Cat). 7 points away from level 4, not collecting from Halloween buildings until I get auto leveled from tasks or whatever it is I see dropping when I clear characters. An onion type item dropped from the Park. No idea why as it didn't show it applied to any item. That's garlic to bomb the group of bats in the next phase of the event. How do we bomb the group of bats? ty! |
