1030 now and the update still hasn't done anything what the fuck this is just fucking bullshit. Oh yeah you still have till the 4 to get everything, so we can have another cash grab shitty event that sucks the life and fun out of everything. you have to fully unlock cleveland jr in order to upgrade to week 3. haha tinyco No I just finished part 7 (again) a moment ago and I still got 9 tubas to get. Maybe that explains why I had part 7 start over 2 times Tinyco new no one had Jr without wasting clams so they changed the parameters.

Looks like they finally updated Diabeto's task to be 4 hours for a mask and not 24. The goons are not generating fast enough now. I need some for the new area, I need some to attack fort knox. I need them to attack trucks and girl scouts... way too many places now.

You should have separate queues fro each goon, considering we will need 3 types now and there's 3 more (probably for clams) to come.

Mine are still in a single one. You mentioned you put Diabeto on his 24 hour task that finished 4 hours, but nothing about a queue. I upgraded the mansion this morning (wasn't available on my IOS last night - only a required store update). I haven't finished cleveland Junior, so perhaps that's why. I still have 1 queue, max of 6, capacity of 9 (no premium modifiers).

I spent clams on the last couple of tubas last night and I still couldn't upgrade until this morning. The last time I checked for the upgrade was a little after midnight eastern time. Carter, I think @aarontd had mentioned at one point that we should have multiple queues to craft the thugs like we did for the fire fighters. That's probably what he's referring to.

Sorry I didn't mean you as in you, I ment Tinyco should have done that so we can do more at a time (especially with the multiple tasks and terrible drop rates).

I'm still on 7 Tuba's I even messaged them about the drop rate and I have been ignored. Looks like I'm going to be well behind on this event I dropped from 5k to 19k over the course of a day while I was actively playing. They have got to be kidding me. I at least got an automated reply to my complaint letting me know that they "appreciate the feedback." Interestingly enough I lost more ground on the leader board after they thanked me. Familyguyaddicts is telling readers to message Tinyco about drop rates and feedback. Honestly, it is a waste of time. Not only will it not make a difference, it will get your future support requests de-prioritized. Tinyco knows damn well what they're doing. The drop rates are not some sort of oversight. About the only thing that might have an impact would be a flurry of 1 star reviews. That, and if the blogs hold them accountable. It should not be a damn PR operation I couldn't agree more about FGA. I had to google your Pravda reference and just about died laughing when I discovered what it was. FGA are so disingenuous about supporting their readers. If they truly had their backs they absolutely should hold TinyCo accountable instead of continuously excusing their actions. But they're more concerned with making that money. They like to downplay how much they make; maybe it's not enough to support a family but it's certainly enough to spend thousands on the game which affords them everything in the game as soon as it comes out.

And now we have another "free" character in Mr. Washee Washee. It's pretty much guaranteed that you will not be able to unlock him by this time next week through item drops. Not while you have 6 slots to create goons, luchadors and showgirls that are needed for item drops, quests, cookie trucks, gold trucks, gurl scouts, cookie couriers, obstacles, Fort Nox and other things that I'm probably forgetting. The only way to get him in a reasonable amount of time is to buy the 125 clam building that gives out all of his items.
Edit: Oh and it takes 3 showgirls to take down one cookie courier. You need high heels to hire showgirls at 45 minutes each. 15 common and 12 rare items that can only be obtained from couriers or the premium building. What fun.

Essentially, that's how TinyCo hopes to make money from "free" characters by either having to buy the premium building that drop items or buying the character outright with clams when it's reasonable enough when you're lacking a few items. I'm sure it's a tough situation having to offer a "freemium" game while encouraging players to spend some money on it (TinyCo is still a business after all). I don't know how much they pay the guest celebs (Mike Tyson, etc.) and The Godfather franchise (I'm assuming they have to pay the rights to have Don Corleone in the game), one thing is certain, I love that most of the characters in the game are voiced and the events, while frustrating, can be fun-- my top three being the Comic Con, Ghostbusters and Star Trek events-- which puts them on a different league than Tapped Out in terms of content. I never thought the likes of Bruce Willis, Arnold, Patrick Stewart, Stan Lee, Benedict Cumberbatch, etc., will be in my Quahog. That's unheard of in a freemium game which EA cannot match.

I know they have to pay, but that doesn't mean we should get gouged for it. If they were cheaper and/or come with a building (costs nothing) then more people might be interested in buying it. In three years of Simpson's we still have a lot of loyal followers and six months of family Guy we've already lost half of the form and then the other six months we lost the other half we only got a few forum members left. How many people are going to be playing family guy if it's last three years?

I'm not worried I still need 9 tubas and barely done with the first stage of the first star. I'm saving clams for people barring my impatience to speed up actions here and there.

Does anyone know what 'fight promoter Cleveland' does and if it pays to go for that while ignoring other tasks in the mean time?

How many people are going to be playing family guy if it's last three years? It's all subjective. Personally, I'm bored with Tapped Out. I readily pass buying unvoiced premium characters in that game. If they want to charge donuts for premium characters, have them voiced like in FG. And the humor has grown stale in Tapped Out. I hardly check that game anymore. The FG game keeps me entertained and the writing much better.

Does anyone know what 'fight promoter Cleveland' does and if it pays to go for that while ignoring other tasks in the mean time? Welcome! I don't know what he does, but I think it would be better to work toward unlocking Cleveland Jr, Mr. Washee Washee, and beating the mansion 3 times, since it is likely that at least one of those will be required in order to upgrade to week 4. I got a very late start to week 2 because I didn't bother to beat the safehouse 3 times, and it burned me. I think Tinyco's intent here is to make it so that freemium play will not be sufficient to unlock all of the free stuff by the end of the event. Better to lose out on the skin, IMO, than to fall behind and lose a couple of characters.
