I just checked the leaderboards and it says I've been banned. 3 days till the event ends and no idea why. I contacted support and now just waiting to see what their answer will be. It'll be interesting to see if they reinstate my rank before the end. If they screw me out of Don Corleone it'll be the final nail in the coffin for my participation in this game. Sorry to hear that man  It sounds like people have been getting banned when they buy too many decos at once and shoot up too quickly. Were you cashing out your cookies? No I was playing a lot, doing the quest that gave lots of mob rep, becoming the best or something like that. All five parts gave a total of 5000 or so. I purposely didn't buy decos because I had heard the same. Ridiculous that one would have to make sure not to do too well to not get banned. I'm guessing that was the reason because they never gave me a reason, just an automated response that gave a laundry list of reasons why one would be banned including a hacked game, buying clams from a third party and messing with the game's code among others. |

were you able to keep playing even though you were banned from the leaderboards? Yes I wasn't banned from the game, just the leaderboards. I have a theory as to what happened. I don't cheat (never have never will) and I just couldn't figure out why their system would flag me as a cheater. I've been thinking about it ever since and I started trying to think if I had done anything different than I normally do. And I realized I did one thing towards the end that may have caused it. I usually play on my iPad. The game is always logged into Facebook. A few months back I played the game on my IPhone, set some tasks and went to visit friends and noticed that it had logged me out of Facebook. I thought that the tasks I had set would have to be reset when I logged back into my iPad but surprisingly it kept all of my progress. So I never bothered to log back into Facebook on my iPhone since my progress is saved on both devices regardless of whether or not it's connected. This entire event I played on my iPad. Until July 4th. That night I went to my brother's to celebrate and didn't want to bring my iPad so I played the game on my iPhone. And I think that maybe playing the game not connected to Facebook and then going back to the iPad the next day and playing connected might've made their system think that something shady was going on. That's the only thing I can think of. |

It's a real shame. Hopefully they will verify that you weren't cheating and give you the place on the leader board that you would have had.

I'm not counting on it since I can't get a response from them after the automated reply (even though I've invested hundreds of dollars in this game). I think I'm not going to concern myself with it any further. I haven't enjoyed the game much since the beginning of this year and I was playing this event to burn through my remaining clams and although it's disappointing to not get the prize I should've received (after spending roughly $100 in clams and playing every 2 hours) in the end it is just one more character and skin, neither of which I was all that excited for. It's funny, before this, whenever someone would post about being unfairly banned or wrongly accused by TinyCo of hacking the game for clams or something, the cynical part of me always thought well, you were probably doing something shady. |

You know what, I just remembered. They recently sent me the "you hacked" message. I think it's because I play on both iPad and iPhone (iPhone throughout the day for events, iPad at night). So I don't think they account for multiple devices and assume you only have 1. But this was right before the event started. So since you haven't really played on the second device until now, they probably assumed someone was trying to log into your account and thus give clams - despite it being a normal login. From what I've heard, the clam/donut hacks you provide your game/login info or whatever, and someone logs into your account and runs the software to credit your account with premium currency. |

That sucks I got banned from the leaderboards on my second account as well on my second account all's I did was spend clams to speed up the safe houses for the rep |

Just got my leaderboard prizes. My rank 4 prizes. The Don and Zoot Suit Stewie. Don/ Peter have an 8 hour start, and Stewie is a 6 with Chris and Meg having a 4 each.
