I gave up and spent clams to defeat Consuela. I'm thinking this might be my last event, so might as well us a few clams here and there to just stay caught up. Hate being like that, but this random crap that affects the progress in the event has gotten on my last nerve. Then this morning I log in and I have the gold truck pop up after I take out a couple trucks. Apparently the gold truck needs 6 guys, so I missed out on that one.

I'm done offering feedback about these things. They really have no interest in making the game fun.

Seems we are in the same boat along our thoughts about the game.  Luckily I had finished Consuela's operation (barely) and was working on the bonus ones.  Then it suddenly disappeared.  How was that even possible to complete the bonus ones at all?  Mort only failed like 5-6 times on the 2 hour task and I was pretty diligent keeping him going (also followed Elmo's advice and had Tom Tucker on his 2 hour to try to get him over the finish line).

But this grinds keep cutting it way too close.  Barely enough time to make it "freemium" and definitely taking a toll.

I did splurge on Mike Tyson - just as I'm a huge Nintendo fan and loved his Punch Out!! game on the NES along with seeing him in some of my favorite films The Hangover (various parts).  So he was a celeb I was interested in having, and actually recognized.

I was happy to see his first task was to play Punch Out!! and defeat himself.  That was great, but wish it was a visual task.

They should have left the warehouse alone and added the new one so you could continue doing it. But most importantly the people that earn items for the areas should be permanent do to the lack of them dropping.

I don't think I'm at the point of quitting however like you I'm just using up my clams to stay competitive in this event. I won't be buying anymore. The game is all grind with little to no payoff. Most of my friends that have played through every event from the beginning, started this event, played for a few days, and have more or less stopped trying. Why bother when there's little chance of winning anything. I think the only reason I'm doing as well as I have is due to spending 400 clams on the middle cookie factory right at the beginning that helped with a little head start. Seems that's the only way to win.

I'm not as big a fan of Nintendo as you, but have fond memories of playing Mike Tyson's PunchOut with friends on my old 8-bit. It's stupid that his PunchOut task isn't visual. That's the one task that cries out for a visual.

Don't give up yet neighbor.  I skipped this event while I'm on vacation but will be playing regularly next month when they release the new district-- I hope.  I'm out of land anyway and want to keep my town intact and in order and all these new event stuff without more land doesn't help.      Hang in there!

Which is why I said that leaderboard idea is pretty lame.  It rewards the spenders most, and made the prizes everyone wants (character, stewie outfit) the hardest to get.  I think those should be a reward for playing the event and given to everyone - they shouldn't lock a character and character skin behind a pay-to-play wall.

I have honestly had enough cookies since the start.  It's come at the toll of my time in the game and keeping up with the wise guys.  Once the first prize hit, I had enough cookies for the first phase.  I went into part 2 with near 4k in cookies, and already bought the available buildings, the other shady RV, and paid off Cleveland Jr.  I still have close 1500 left, but now it's just building it back up or until other options become available to purchase.  I see a number buildings behind quest walls.

Sorry to hear that.  Really should have had more characters do that.  

In terms of the new content, I see that Joe/Peter/Quagmire help out with that limited time operation thing, but only saw a task for Joe (maybe Peter too?).  Is Quagmire's on a different skin?  Same can be said for another item.  I see Bonnie is supposed to give masks, but no task available - did it I miss it on the Stripper Bonnie or [does she have other skins, I forgot..] somewhere else?  Or is that on her new skin she will get this event?

Don't worry they will put the prizes in a mystery box or out right purchase because so many people are unhappy with the whole thing like usual.

I don't see any tasks for Bonnie to drop anything, but it's also possible that I haven't made it far enough in the event. Now I've got buildings that I need that I can't get because they're locked by quest. I'm trying to be positive, really I am.

So we have 28 days to get 25 gold cookie trucks and you have 4hrs per 24hrs to clear it. And being as I just used one on a truck and already have 2 at 1hr each it'll take me 4 1/2 hrs to get me 6 goons, so I guess I'll miss it. This is the first time since yesterday I saw it, so you can only miss a few or you'll not be able to get BPC (unless I use clams to speed them up)

I've already had two gold trucks disappear on me in less than five minutes.. Plus a third that crashed my game and didn't pay out. So I'm not expecting to get that skin no matter how hard I try.
