They finally got around to updating the icons and loading screen, but they also offered something for "what's new": Text: It's a life of crime for Peter and the gang when he gets a taste of the high life. Watch Quahog get turned upside as the dough stacks, the bullets fly, and the body count rises. Has Peter fallen into the wrong crowd? Will the Griffins survive? How does this tale end? Find out in June during our next exciting event.

I'm starting to get burnt out here. Not to be that person, but we really need more land. I'm so over grinding to get stuff that's going to end up in storage as soon as the event is over. There's no point in trying to design, so everything just ends up plopped in wherever it fits until it's time to store it.

Burnt out? Firefighter event!
The inventory system needs an overhaul. I find it impossible to find what I'm looking for scrolling thru 10,000 itemsz

I thought for sure we'd get a new district-- and more land-- before all these events-- one after another. I don't like having my town looking like a warehouse and get rid of my roads. I pretty much have kept my town as it is now-- organized and in order-- and new buildings go into storage-- unless needed for a quest-- until new land comes out.

I've been ready to quit, but keep coming back.

Plenty of room to dump stuff down. Tapped Out is doing this too now. Back-to-back-to-back events. One after another after another. It's like all that happens in the game(s) now. Tapped Out will have 100% priority over this game as I can handle the simpler paces and more freedoms of not having to play hourly.

This is what my town has looked like for the last few events. This looks like shit I know (not like I have any friends to look at it anyways, right tinyco), but it looks better then if I emptied my inventory into my town. I only have the level up people and the buildings for 1 day tasks, and whatever quest needed. Plus it keeps all the actions on the street.

I have neighbors that essentially look like this, although worse, with buildings just dumped everywhere like a warehouse. It's their town so they can do what they want with it but my OCD can't handle having my town looking like it (the same goes for Tapped Out) so I still kept the roads and just pick and choose which buildings go into storage and still have my town looking decent.

I had that mindset for this game, but it fell apart, I dislike the ratio of content to land available for FG. TSTO had a better ratio, and I literally just nuked TSTO to redesign to fit in all the latest content. It came to a point where my larger and enjoyable designs were land hogs, and could no longer design with just 1 strip of land added to the side of town. It will be a super slow and long time coming before it's good looking again, but the idea to see if the content fits on the land provided with some design. FG my town is similar to the picture above. They left out major features like ground type to really make it look good, let along having odd pixels of land where you can't even get the road from edge to edge of the map.

I've got part of my town that looks like that now. I started out with grand plans of a beautiful town and took the trouble of moving everything to one side so I could redesign when one of the districts opened up (can't remember which one now). It's just that I have so much stuff tucked away in storage and so much more that should be tucked away if I'm going to make it look pretty that I lost my motivation to finish the redesign.

I think this will be the longest period of "no new content" we will have for a while. It seems typically that Thursdays are update days, but perhaps I'm wrong and another limited time weekend will start. I'd much rather have a content-less free weekend with a major event on Wednesday, then a limited time weekend event with a major event on Wednesday. Plus the last 2-3 districts, the land for them was teased in advance (meaning the clouds and all), so unless those appear tonight, thinking we won't get a district until after the next event.
