Right there with you.  I went like 2 days without playing but was still surfing here.  Saw that Spanish Soap Peter was added and decided to give that a shot.

It'd be nice if they made another 6 collections (or more) with all the unorganized characters and skins.  Make the rewards 10 clams, I don't care, just have it set and not just lumping them there so we them organized.  They had no problem back paying everyone when it started, why not create a bunch more?

And I would rather be that old man than to suffer through this stupid game anymore!  I deleted it this afternoon after going two days with only one dropped plutonium.  

Suck it tinyco, Simpsons Tapped Out is infinitely more fun and rewarding.

I just need a couple mustaches. I should have it by the end of the event without spending clams, but right now I only need to spend 15 so if I do have to spend them I should still be up 10 from completing the collection. I didn't even notice they lowered the amount of candies, but it makes sense since they grossly underestimated how long it would take to get 50 even if they dropped all the time. I don't mind that things take some time to do, but I don't want to have to grind constantly. Despite what TinyCo thinks, I do have a life.

I came to the realization some time ago that they do this on purpose, intentionally making the requirements outrageously difficult and/or impossible to get limited time skins through regular gameplay, only to ease up one part or another in the last day or two to make it doable. People complain and they get to play the "good guy" that "listens to their customers". It's all phony. They do it so as to sell more premium crap that drops items (in this case a big piñata) to people worried that they won't get it in time. They got me with it back at the end of August last year going for Bonnie's stripper skin. I shelled out some clams to get it knowing I couldn't get it otherwise only to have them make her not limited time on the last day to get her. Never again.

I ended up sending them a message this morning that I'm not happy. I needed 2 mustaches last night, woke up this morning saw at least one drop and guess what? I still needed 2. Ummm maybe my math is off. It's been a few years since I was in 2nd grade, but I'm pretty sure if Janey needs 2 apples and Billy gives her 1 apple; then, she only needs 1 apple. I ended up spending the 10 clams to get the costume since it got me 25, but I'm not happy about it. With 9 hours left at that point, 8 hour tasks that might not drop anything and plans with an actual non-pixelated person I really didn't have much of a choice, but I'm really not pleased that it came to that.

They typically don't make the mistake that bad though.  I can't think when they changed the number needed due to bad math.  Sure they changed drop rates to "always" and such, but I can't recall when they said "gather 100 of this item.  Oh wait, nevermind our bad, just 50" type of thing.

Really what it comes down to is 12 a day times 4 full days = 48, plus a few odd hours on the last day (about 7 chances), so in reality you had 55 chances - but with a non "always" drop rate it made it impossible.  Basically you couldn't be out of the game for more than 10 hours at a time to get all 55 chances.
