I already had 517 clams, so didn't really need anymore, but to get the firetruck i just purchased 130 more. My firetruck went missing though, it was in my inventory, i went to place it, and then it just disappeared, cannot find it anywhere  |

It does look cool. I want Meg's car and Peter's Tank, however, i'm not risking clams for rubbish items that are also put in the prize boxes |

I ended up buying two of the $80 package (= 7000 clams  ). It's a lot of dough, but at $2.29 per 100 clams, it's much cheaper than the $20 packages (=$3.33 per 100) I've been buying. Hopefully it will last the whole year and end up costing less. The downside will be having to deal with the biweekly clam offers that TinyCo puts up. And yes, that firetruck is neat.  |

I did it mostly b/c I had enough in my itunes balance left, and in looking at my purchase history, I felt like a chump for having bought the $20 package so many times. We'll see in a year if it works out to less money spent. Didn't need donuts for TSTO. Did the firetruck open up a task for Stewie? I'll have to look at your town, I passed on the sale. Nope, it came with no new tasks or quests. It is really only a deco. Definitely non-essential. |

I bought the $80 package. It just made more sense to buy a bunch than to keep tossing out $10-20 here and there. Of course now I have to be disciplined in my clam spending. The TSTO offer expired before I got back onto my wifi so I missed out on that which made it easier to spend a little more on this game than I might have otherwise.
